Can Alexis sign a pre contract with us in preparation for a free summer move?
No, not a binding one anyway. He can only do that with a club from another league, hence Wenger's whining when it was fairly obvious we'd agreed terms with Sagna early without an official announcement.

It's going to go down to the last day of the window isn't it.

Wouldn't be surprised if the same happens with Arsenal messing up and failing to get a replacement again.

Pretty hilarious how people have forgotten we were after at least 3 more players who would've cost 100m+ in the summer, and are saying FFP is a big issue now suddenly.

Maybe spending that money would have required us to move players on, during the ffp assessment period though.
Only Mangala was going to be moved on to get another top class CB, which after failing resulted in us considering Evans in the summer. The Mbappe and Sanchez deals had nothing to do with anybody else leaving.

That is true. A very flexible player. I would not play him in any of the forward positions though unless there are injuries. I think he is a significant step below players like Sterling and Sane in being able to go past a man. When teams park the bus, players like that are absolutely vital. That's what used to make Sanchez special. He had that ability too, but it has gone. However he is still a very flexible player who would be a very useful addition to the squad because he covers so many positions. At his age, I can see him playing in a lot deeper positions than most have considered.

His first job will be to get fit. I have seen him play recently and he has only been good for 45 mins. He's probably been coasting at Arsenal this season.

I would not have bought him, but he is a very adaptable player, and I think Pep might use him as cover, or perhaps surprise us and play him in a deeper role.

When teams park the bus, pace is the last thing required, as there is zero space in behind.

It's the actual opposite, Sanchez has superior skills and ball control in closer quarters than either Sane or Sterling.

Sanchez will engage a player through attempting to bustle and dribble, which then creates the possibility of a break in the line.
