Perhaps you would also like to have a pay rise & work in North Korea.
it's not quite the same thing, the guy is from Chile and he would be moving to the same area I'm sure he would live in the same house and will be playing in the same league. If the North Koreans want to employ me here in the UK for more than my current employer then sure when do I start?

What's the food like?
Brilliant. The Great Leader is a phenomenal chef and regularly comes up with groundbreaking original recipes using ideas nobody else has thought of, wait until you taste his Chicken Balti or Spaghetti Bolognese.

Yeah, it's strange in this case though, Sanchez must have a good idea of what we'd offer and both Soriano and his counterpart at Arsenal are capable of picking up a phone (presume that jobs been taken off Wenger at this stage).
Christ.. if his hearing is as bad as his eyesight imagine getting to February 1st and Wenger telling the world he never heard the phone ring!

Have you any idea which way this one is going then mate?

Fair enough Tolmie I am never off edge until maths says otherwise but I am confident given the remaining matches that 85 points will be enough to win the title this year.

That means 23 points from our last 16 games and yes an implosion will make that beyond a walk in the park but that is what the picture says.

I seem to recall Tolmie saying somewhere he was cool with us reaching 90 points this year after Jesus was injured but I stand to be corrected on this.

Extra points to me is a bigger insurance than Sanchez.

Oh come on behave, there’s not a single player in world football who can bridge the gap between us and the rest of the league other than maybe Messi. Sánchez is an exceptionally gifted footballer but Chelsea, United, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal need more than just him to compete.

We’ve got a world class team that so far works as well as any I’ve ever seen in 30 years. All our players compliment each other’s style, they seem to have an amazing spirit between them and they’ve all got the determination to win week in week out. That team togetherness counts far more than any individual player, hence why I’ve wanted one of our more experienced players out for years.
I agree with a lot of your points especially the ones that have to do with the team spirit and togetherness. Don't know the "one of our more experienced players" you're referring to but if it's the one I think you're referring to, I'd say the guy has a very good relationship with other players. You can tell the way they respect him and acknowledge him. You can even tell from the way he celebrates with the rest of the team from the bench when we score an important goal jumping on players and acting like a 5 year old. I also think the players see him as quite funny and he revels in his hilarity.

Re: Sanchez, if we don't get him, then fair enough. We'd look for someone else but I've got to be honest there are so many boxes he ticks. Any opportunity to continue to advance ahead of our rivals should be taken seriously.

In terms of ability alone, I don't think our players are so far ahead of the competition. My EPL teamXI front 3 would have Sanchez, Hazard, Salah, Kane, Mane, Eriksen in contention and I honestly don't see Aguero, Sterling and Sane as first choice out of that lot. This is my view with respect to defence too however in midfield we are head and shoulders above the competition.

The difference has been Pep, our goal keeper, full backs and the spirit of togetherness that you mentioned. My fingers are crossed to see how this all plays out.

The family man told the rags to sign Sanchez when he was 16, don’t you know!
Right, I might be getting Clarkie'd here, but is that true or are you fucking around? It sounds true-ish as it would lend credibility to the clamour to give the wanker a top management job as he can 'spot' talent!

You see, this is where I am at odds with seemingly so many of my fellow blues.

We have won nothing yet and I still don't consider us home and hosed in the Premier League, much as the national consensus seems to think so.

The margins have been far tighter in the last couple months and could have gone the other way in the blink of an eye.

Sanchez gives us maximum insurance against further injury, a lack of cutting edge, further impacting the psyche of our rivals, both domestically and abroad.

I don't want the Moral Stance Cup, I want the real stuff and Sanchez coming this month could guarantee the difference.

Put it this way, Sanchez in United's team would certainly get them closer to us before the season ends.
Bang on. We've got out of jail on a few ocassion, and I think Sanchez would be a great addition.

I expected to wake up to deafening noise from every news outlet that Sanchez had/was on the verge of signing for United, alas it's all quiet on the Old Toilet Front.

If United agree to £400k pw for Sanchez then they are announcing to the world that they have to pay Chinese wages to attract talent.

And then it's a certain kind of 'talent'! Wonder what happened to their perpetual conveyor belt of young talent? Mind they did get Pogba from the scouts down Hough End!

Wouldn't everybody ?

All the best players in the world want to sign for Mourinho and his band of galactico's.

Not me. Yer wouldn't get me down there for a king's ransom or Jimmy Avarice's money and signing on fee. And I'm as good as owt they have down at Carrington, perhaps better than most - I can tie on my own boots.
