Seeing all these rags get smug thinking they've got Sanchez is pissing me off! Can't wait till he's our player. the reaction will be amazing.

Whoever loses out on Sanchez the excuses are

1) We were never in for him

2) He is shit anyway and we dont need him.

3) Would upset the dressing room and is not a (insert mangers name) type player.

4) The players we have are better than him in any event and we need players in other positions as a priority.

5 Luxury signing.

So to summarise the last 3654 pages,

We’re in for Sánchez for £60mil end of summer.
Arsenal agree, Sánchez tells teammates he’s joined City.
Arsène calls deal off as he only had a whole summer to replace him.
Sánchez has to return to Arsenal under duress.
Jesus gets injury day before transfer window opens.
City tell Arsenal here’s £20mil take it or we’ll have him fee in summer.
Arsène Wenger doesn’t like our attitude so starts a rumour, to try and start a bidding war.
Peg knows Sánchez only wants City, but try’s too play silly buggers with us.
Someone (Peg) leaked to Sky that Rags have offered £25mil and unbelievable personal terms.
Everybody in panic for 24hrs.
Almost everyone calms down, as they see through the shit storm.
City put new bid in for £20,000,001.00, just to piss Arsène off.
Malcom’s In the middle.
Transfer deadline day, Arsenal except City offer.
Bluemoon goes gif mad.
City get Sánchez.
Peg gets a “Dirty Sánchez”.
Happy days

Right, I might be getting Clarkie'd here, but is that true or are you fucking around? It sounds true-ish as it would lend credibility to the clamour to give the wanker a top management job as he can 'spot' talent!
Only true in la la land.

Its obvious to anyone with a brain that Alexis wants to come here. His agent is after money as they all are, but the player wants us.
This is what I don't get, if i'm Sanchez & the agent I pay for is trying to palm me off to another club heads would roll.

The rags have nothing to offer Sanchez.....NOTHING.
He doesn't need the money, wherever he goes he's gonna command a big wedge.
Surely he's seen the way Pep has transformed City,we are playing some of the best football the premier league has ever seen.
They ramble about history....well...I'm watching it unfold before my very eyes, surely he'd want to be a part of that, who wouldn't?
Very simple,be part of a legacy or go play a bit of hoofball.
No brainer for me.

The next 8 weeks are massive & I also agree we ain't won anything yet. It only takes a big defeat & get knocked out of the cup to start us blues thinking he we go again. Nothing is simple with City & we will loose a few games.

Yes we have been outstanding & yes if Sanchez doesn't happen then we Craic on & will be ok but I also would love him to sign & give us that extra quality.

I know it's 15 points but that can soon drop down to single figures within a week.
Thank fuck that's only your 5th post.
Are you related to @Big Yaya Wilko 12 by any chance?
Why the glass half empty attitude?
Lighten up, we're 15 points clear on a great run of form, stop trying to talk doom in, embrace what's happening in the here and now.

Utd have struggled since City became competitive. That one season where they had RVP & Mancini had a breakdown, masks a long period of decline.

If Bob had kept his shit together, we would have won it that season as well & the picture would be clear, that this started under Ferguson, not Moyes.

In spite of changing managers, & short term fluctuations, we have had a long term target of what we want to be, & how we want to do it.

This Sanchez situation is a perfect example of that, in action. We plan for a player, put it all in motion, & they jump in at the last minute, to try & fuck it up, when we are already 15 points clear at the top of the table & don't even need him.

What they should be worried about, is beating us to whatever we are planning for 2020, not reacting to what we've already done, in 2017.

I think you have hit the nail on the head there.

In terms of the Sanchez deal, I do think that we should be doing everything sensible to sign him. The issue we might have is that the Rags are desperate and are now a far more profligate organisation than our own. I find it quite ironic at times how people go on about City's money whilst the club have been increasingly prudent over the last few years.

I'm not as pessimistic as Tolmie about our situation but I want the insurance policy. Also, I want us to spend every last penny we can afford (under FFP) in this window to strengthen and pull away from our opponents; plus doing everything we can to make this a truly historic season.

I think we have a fantastically well run club but room remains for improvement and I do not think we are quite as ruthless as we should be.

Of course, we have to sign players who want to be at City for the right reasons and have the right attitude.

Yes but you don't belong to the 659 million fuckwits that the media have to feed on a daily basis.

I get the distinct feeling that City are playing a blinder here, and benefiting from a long-running open dialogue with Sanchez’s camp. I think he is sitting tight waiting for us to do the deal and everything else is just bluster and negotiation. I cannot believe for a second that the last minute United interest is anything more than mischief making by MUFC/AFC.

Tell you what, cannot wait for that amazon documentary to see just what has happened this season and hopefully a little bit about the Sanchez transfer
