For sure we need a plan "B".
It's looking likely were going to be disappointed on the Sanchez deal from what I am reading, very disappointing considering it looked as though we were nailed on for him.
Should have been sorted in the summer, not now.
Jesus not ready yet which leaves Kun and if he gets injured theirs no way we will have a chance in the CL with playing false 9's and whatever it's called.

Kane is the real deal,if there's even the remotest possibility of him being available.....we should be all over him.

Based on that, I really think Kane is headed to Madrid next summer even if it means paying 300 million. Madrid will break the world record again if they have to.

True that. Hate to say it because he plays for Spurs, but he can legitimately win the Ballon D'or with Madrid. His goalscoring record is fuckin insane. Only the 3rd player after Shearer and Henry to score 20+ goals for 4 consecutive seasons in the prem. And he's still only 24. Jesus Christ. With the number of chances we create, he would be scoring 40 goals in the league alone if he played for us.I tend to agree.

Guardiola is adaptable, but personally can't see him going after target man while having carte blanche from the owner. It contradicts the basics of his style - attacking the box from unexpected angles, on the move. Thus I presume the likes of Lewandowski, Kane, Werner etc. are out of equation.
What's needed is a hybrid forward that can either comfortably drop deep or move to the channels and take part in quick interplays. Dribbling ability would be welcome as well. Shevchenko, Henry, Mbappe are obvious examples.
Even Mandzukic was forced to play this way under Pep.
The best young options for ST/false 9 position - Mbappe, Dembele, Martial - are unavailable. Sanchez was next in line. Who else? Probably Griezmann, has €100m release clause if I'm not mistaken.
It's very difficult to find a readymade solution for this team.

I wouldn’t mind another young pacey winger. Sterling, Sane and Jesus will have plenty more of experience next season and Sergio will be still showing them how it’s done when it comes to scoring.

Griezmann has a buyout of €90m, Juve will want Coutinho money for Dybala.
It would be some stretch by Barca to sign both Coutinho and Griezmann.
Then again, I don’t think United would be going for Sanchez if they knew they could get Griezmann still.

He extracted good performance from Mandzukic as well. Guardiola didn't have a say on transfers at Bayern.Admittedly I don’t keep up with the German game like I should but didn’t Pep and Lewandowski do very well together? I don’t see why that couldn’t apply to Kane.
