Alternative striker options

At a complete guess I’d say about £180m, but we wouldn’t pay it and they wouldn’t sell to us.
Damn I'd do it. With the guys we'd have to supply him he'd bag an insane amount of goals and could actually be rested by rotating with Jesus. But yeah don't think they'd sell to us. Would like to see a deal for Greizman materialize this window and maybe an agreement for a transfer in the summer like Liverpool did with Kieta although unlikely.

Ha, I’d do it too. But then again it’s not my money so it’s easy to say!

Given we wouldn't pay the money for Mbappe and Sanchez I doubt we'd pay the ridiculous money that would be asked for Griezmann.

We might try and find a young player like we did with Jesus from somewhere?

Having money allows you to say no as well as yes.

Whilst everyone is hurting on the Sanchez deal, losing what is a great player to our rivals. With the problem being in all likelihood he will be great from the off.

We can take solace in the fact he was carefully picked by us and United have acted desperately. Despite the low transfer fee, wages, agency fees etc. A more expensive option over 5 years may not be too much more book value and we will not rush.

Trust in the club!!

The bigger problem is that Sanchez makes United much more likely to compete for the FA Cup and even the CL. He's absolutely miles better than any other forward they have, and has the ability to make shit players around him look much better too.

I'm not worried about the league or next season, but it would be a bit shit if they end up winning some silverware because of this.

Doesn’t Griezmann have a release of €100m? At some point we will have to pay that for proven quality. I’m not overly convinced by him tho.

Timo Werner? How much do we think he’d be?

A lot. £80m+ probably. IMO he's in the category of "not quite deserving his price tag" like Dybala, where yes they are very good and potentially world class, but you have to pay a price tag like they're already there, when they aren't.

Would these deals happen before or after the World Cup? know some players price rocket based on the WC they have (James Rodriguez) for one I can think of :D

The problem with finding a young player is it's not really what we need. It was when we got Jesus, but now we have 3 young players up front in Sterling, Sané and Jesus, IMO what we need is someone who isn't a developing talent, but is the finished article and will reliably do a good job every time they play, not suffer the ups and downs of the three kids.

Do you think they’re will be bringing in anyone at all this window Ric?

Stones is clearly not fit yet, & try as I might to give Sergio & Pep some slack on the matter, neither it seems is prepared to change their preferred way of playing to suit the other... Something, which,in my opinion at least, if yestèday is anything to go by, definitely needs resolving quickly

We should have just offered what Arsenal wanted for Sanchez, unless we’ve got a very good plan b.

To us right now Sanchez would be priceless, and could be the difference between a champions league win or a quarter final exit.

I’m of the opinion that we may never be as good as we are this season ever again. In a years time Pep could be gone, and Silva could be on the decline (we’ve seen how quick that can happen), and Fernandinho may not have the engine he’s had this year.

It would be a real shame for this team not to fulfil its potential this year. Although I would obviously still be happy with the premier league.

Strike while the iron is hot.

You sound like a real optimist

Nail on the head. I am with you 100%.

Its all about perspective. Fans can't get past what we have done this season, but we will never reach these heights again, it's never been done before in premier league history.
