Depends on your child. I took my (then) 4 year old to a match, made sure he had his DS, comics, sweets in case he got bored - none of it, he loved it.
Good idea that. We play a game where they get a sweet or choc for every goal scored. Only been doing this for last 2 weeks. At the ground I've said double rewards! Camera on a mini tablet could be good too.Depends on your child. I took my (then) 4 year old to a match, made sure he had his DS, comics, sweets in case he got bored - none of it, he loved it.
So it was you on the plane !!make sure they kick fuck out of the seat in front...always a right laugh that
Was it the terrible officiating? I was at home and I was struggling as well.took my 4 yr old to the Everton game and she sat on my knee, she got a bit overwhelmed and think I will wait until she is older
no it was mainly the fireworks before the game, fortunately she doesn't understand the poor officiatingWas it the terrible officiating? I was at home and I was struggling as well.
How did it go OP?
Sorry for the delay. Got her in without issue which was what I was originally worried with. She enjoyed the first half, but kept her stocked up with snacks. Second half she got a bit bored/tired and had a bit of a lie down and watched some programmes on my phone. But she lasted til the end. Quite proud to hear her shout 'C'mon City' at random intervals early on.
Thanks to everyone for the advice. I think I'll leave it a little while before trying again in our usual seats (unless there is no alternative).
Morning all,
I've been thinking of taking my daughter to the Bournemouth game on Saturday, she's 3 so I don't know how she'll take it or how long she'll last so didn't want to bother relocating or having anything set in stone.
Have any of you carried your kids through the turnstyle recently and then had them on your lap for the match? I used to see it happen quite a bit, but not so much recently and I don't want to get there to be turned away at the turnstyle.
Cheers
Good luck mate with a 3 year old, I didn't take mine until she was 5 must admit I didn't take me youngest daughter until she was 6 after that. Saying that it was easier taking the 2 of them together (but not on the pocket especially in the souvenier shop)
