Alexis Sanchez

The Sun even have the cheek to redesign a Welcome to Sanchezter poster image across its back page. In red and with him in the same pose.

So he dominates both their front page and back page.

In one he allegedly goes behind his girlfriend's back with money involved (if you believe their story.)

In the other he goes behind the manager and club he loves back to sign elsewhere with money involved (no allegedly here).

Spot the theme.

So 200k a week wages then. I can imaging every top player gets something for image rights these days but i have never seen it mentioned in a headline before. Bet Sanchez has image rights also on top of his crazy wages, but it wont be reported as De Bruyne's has been
Fuck me I hope the face doesn't do image rights. Maybe he models footwear!!

Just lol'd at Sanchez RT'ing an Olly Holt article about him not being a mercenary. That's a clear sign of insecurity.

Alexis has been regarded as one of the best players in the league the last 3 years. He has however been earning about 100k less per week than Kun, Hazard, Rooney, Ibrahimovíc and 150k less than Pogba.

This may have some bearing on what he is getting now.

i can't believe he retweeted that. What a knob. I reckon he already regrets it. Or at least has cold feet, shouldn't be trying to defend himself so soon!

Shows why they were desperate to get him, struggled against Burnley. Sanchez will be made up playing with world class talent like lukaku, lingaard, jones, herrera, pogba, smalling, shaw, valencia

See you in April at the Etihad when you get taught a footballing lesson

On the bright side, at least Sanchez not coming has bucked Aguero up.
Though I believe that is more to do with the fact his heel problem is clearing up. Once a professional athlete reaches their late 20's they can no longer run through injuries.

I always thought a collective cackle of sustained laughter would get into a player's head more.
How about a rousing rendition of "Alexis Sanchez - You know what you are" As he is forced to play against us. Preferably just after having to give us a Guard of honour

Sanchez will also get an additional £7.5m "loyalty" bonus payable July 1st for the next four years.

That's on top of a £15m signing-on fee.

That makes it £45m United will have handed him in cash - before wages of £505k a week before tax are also factored.

In all my years, I have never come across numbers such as these.

£15m for the agent - £11m settlement to Mikihtryan.

It works out at roughly £180m all in.

They won't get near another hallmark player for an age.
