FA Cup Games 27/28 Jan & 6/7 Feb replays

You should watch it again and just watch what Kompany does to the QPR defender and tell me it wouldn’t have been disallowed...
Look instead of us going backwards and forwards let me just ask you this.

Would you be OK with us losing a big final due to a bad decision from the referee, because the flow of the game isn't ruined? Yes or no?

Yes, referees are shit.

Listening to players is the last thing that needs to happen. Shrek used to tell the ref what needed to happen. We need players speaking less to the ref.

Video technology will never be perfect but once they iron out issues it will be better.
Nonsense, I'm not talking about players gobbing off. I'm talking about instances where Mike Dean ignored Cech's attempt to talk AFTER the match when he made a cock up. The high and mighty ego that comes with an official. You see referee's go out of their way to not acknowledge players. Referees who have probably never made it past Sunday league standard and are meant to put themselves in a professional footballer's position on the pitch? Ill-informed decisions stem from that lack of knowledge and that stems from poor communication with the players.

VAR is not the next logical progression to improving the standard of refereeing in this league, it's the lazy short cut. That's the problem, it doesn't tackle the issue it still allows the referees to be shit.

It should only really come into affect if it actually effects the ball reaching the player. Personally I don’t want to see non serious fouls that have no chance of affecting the end result being given as penalty’s.
Yes, but they will be under orders NOT to do it at any set pieces in case the ball could reach the player they foul. They won't do it because it'll be an absolutely fucking stupid idea, as stupid as punching someone in front of the referee. So it won't be an issue. Teams will have to learn to defend setpieces properly.

It was the right call because it was reviewed. There will be others they don't review, which could be changed.

The ref decides the outcome if the game.

That’s an issue for another day. At the minute, all the decisions have been right and we’ve had no missed penalty’s or decisions for any of the teams yet. The offside goal was what VAR was invented for. If we didn’t have VAR, there would have been a discussion at half time saying where is the technology to disallow it.

Surely the VAR will be the education?

As long as they get better, does it really matter how it's achieved?
