FA Cup Games 27/28 Jan & 6/7 Feb replays

There shit anyway as has been proved tonight. At least VAR has got the correct decision. That's the whole point no?
You're missing the point completely.

VAR does not tackle the issue of improving the standards of refereeing in England.

No.

They said it was for clear & obvious mistakes, not offsides, which would be reviewed in real time & that the players would not be allowed to appeal & the ref would be called up if they saw something which was an obvious ref cockup, not a half body offside through a bunch of players.

They have instantly changed it to empower themselves.
That’s not strictly true, unfortunately. It is for any goal, any penalty or non-penalty, red card incidents and mistaken identity. So, in effect, it’s being usd tonight exactly how they’ve intended it to be used, god help us.

Wait for it !

They realised Liverpool under Klippety could have the Milan defence of the noughties and still not be able to defend.
Cheers boss, also McPointy can sod off, "lets see if we can see from this angle if he gets his hands on it" (keeper obviously gets hands to it) "i still can't tell" piss off xD

By logical extension, all games should be refereed by the same official to remove individual bias...

No because we have the laws of the game by which the officials run each game.

This is something entirely different in that some clubs are being given decisions after the event whilst others will not.

Gareth Barry is a really good footballer. Think we let him go a year or two too early.

And he pressure is starting to build on klopp if they lose here.
Well said about Barry. Quality professional player and what a role model for the youngsters.

Because it's being trialled.
