FFP 2.0 has not even been agreed yet, the new proposals are to be discussed end of May, some amendments may yet be added, my understanding is if agreed, €90 million will be the max you can go negative on in terms of transfer dealings. Looks to me like you could drive Maureen’s bus through this, I doubt it will fly.

I'd pay the money immediately , what's the point of being loaded if you don't gain advantage out of it.
I've noticed the media are reporting all the transfers like they're fans of said club ,all excited like its Christmas until they get to our then the tone changes ,little sly digs , blatantly comparing our spending to some countries spending , rich bastards basically , they don't report on any other club in this way.
What really annoying is some of our fans have fell for it , almost embarrassed for signing the best players , just fucking stop it ,hold your heads up high & be proud of this great club with its great but chequered history. We are building a fantastic once in a lifetime team here so ignore the jealous/racist tossers in the media,they hate us anyway.

Indeed, it isn't even that big of a deal. Whilst I don't believe on principle we should go with PSG £200m style transfers but a few £50-70m ones... Why not?

In the summer we can offload Mangala, Yaya and a couple of others which more than pays the wages for a start.

If we win the CL then it pays for itself anyway and that I feel is what the powers that be are aiming for this year.

People need to realize that we made a profit last year, we are a sustainable club and the owners could walk tomorrow and we would carry on as we are.

Our ability to spend is purely down to the fact we can afford to do it! Every penny we earn can go on transfers unlike other clubs who have to places limits to allow for siphoning it off to shareholders, directors and to service debt.....!
