Burnley (A) Post Match Thread

Think everyone needs to chill......yeah frustrating but we're 16 points ahead ffs! Tomorrow it'll be irrelevant as we march on. We didn't lose. Sterling does need a rocket from Pep, then a cuddle. Bring on Leicester. We'll take it out on them. Gundogan i thought was fantastic, our best player cant understand why people are slating him.

Think we just took our foot off the pedal, on a back of a tough midweek, and we got punished for it.

Honestly not too worried about this draw though.

Thin dividing line between another dominant away performance and a disappointing draw

Some great football at times just lacking a killer touch, and then we switched off.

It happens, can’t win every game. But for me, the boy Diaz just isn’t good enough. Not yet at least. Backwards every time he gets the ball. Onto the next
Yes looked well out of his depth thought it was a mistake from Pep to bring him on for Sterling would have preferred B.Silva to have gone off for me not a winger .Top players miss open goals De Bruyne did it against Chelsea it happens. But Sterling was the only one looking dangerous out of the front 3 he was the only one getting into these positions so I can only assume he took him off for the miss but I suppose even Pep can't be perfect all the time.

Gundogan played well apart from in the box & then his legs went.
He was goosed, but he has to be more clinical around the box. One moment really summed his game up I thought when he broke to the box and tried to slide sterling in and with the outside of his foot just passed it straight at the Burnley defender. So so sloppy from all of them today around their goal.

For a while we havent been clinical. Missing clear chances.

That's why Pep wanted Mahrez and Sanchez.

I don't know how Pep can rectify it.

Players looked knackered in the last 20 minutes. We were just passing it between our defence and didn' really cause then any problems after sterling's miss. Much needed weeks rest now and some finishing practice I hope.

Kompany looked poor today and I thought he might cost us, in the end it was Walker who took his eye off the ball. Bad miss from Stirling but the game should have been put to bed before that. The whole team looked tired (not surprisingly). Aguero also poor today. But onwards and upwards. 16 points clear and still at least 13 by the end of the day. We've been in worse positions at this time of the season!!

Don’t think a draw is a bad result at all. Sane, silva and Jesus out. Delph and Mendy out as well. One of them games in front of goal. Lads worked hard again.

Disappointing result but hopefully tired legs and minds get a rest now as for the criticism of our players ......some of us need to give the head a good wobble

I find it odd that we have a transfer window and haven’t signed anyone to cover up front. It’s ridiculous to have one forward fit for the practically 3 months of the season.

Vinny is a liability.

Sergio should be gone. Doesn't fit.

Ok im gong to call you out now on this.

On numerous occasions you call out aguero when there were others today that were much more responsible. Sterling well off it today, ILky wasteful on numerous occasions the in possession making the wrong decision with the pass, B.Silva the same.....you seem to want (and clearly by this post) to want him out....

I do wonder why....wasnt it you that started he rumours about Sergio being the leak in the dressing room as well when it now appears it wasn't him....(sorry if that wasn't you)

Weird saying it when you think of the players we've got but at times we're toothless up front, we don't kill sides off and it sometimes bites us in the arse.
Poop performance against a poor side
