Just because you don't like it, doesnt mean it isn't true. We have been in the last 3 youth cup finals, have won every age group league underneath that, have invested very heavily in the academy and yet we can only find 6 subs and we are bemoaning our lack of squad depth. As for, "if Jose had fit senior players the nippers won't get a look in", it seems like out current philosophy is; "even if we don't have fit senior players, the nippers won't get a look in".
Didn't he say they'd played on Friday night though?

A radio presenter tonight gave Pep some real praise for not dragging a kid in for the sake of it and telling all the moaners, like G Nev, to get off his case and "watch and learn" - stand up one Adrian Durham of Talksport (nearly crashed the car hearing that)

On the downside, Durham gets the ‘I’m contrary maverick’ role and is just following the script.
On the upside though, it makes a nice change to hear something good about us on a mainstream medium.

Ah but we kicked off earlier than the raggies, ok same day and all that but in raggy world every second counts. I laughed more at 'the heavy price' we paid, wow Adolf Hitler paid a heavy price for invading Poland and even Saddam Hussein paid a heavy price for invading Kuwait but neither were as heavy as the price we paid for our wayward finishing.

If only we had had a regiment of Panzers, or our forward line had been composed of some of Saddam's Revolutionary Guards - game would have been dead and buried by HT.

The MANUre Northern Correspondent of All Things Raggy at the DT,, Jimmy Sucker brought to my attention today that Scott McHominay (who he?) was chosen instead of the £89m Poogba, which was testament in itself that Moaninho is a million miles ahead of Pep in blooding youngsters, and even more evidence that the Class of '92's grandchildren are funnelling through Carrington faster that Leroy belts down the wing! And more bad cess on Pep for fielding only six subs and not taking one of the U13s to sit on the bench to make up the usual seven. Mind the gap, James!

He did. I know many disagree but we are the only team to put out only 6 subs this season and I just found it a bit disappointing. I suppose I’m just hoping there is an absolute gem in the academy that we’ve not yet seen!
john and dave were late fitness tests,we were away and you can't just beam in a kid who played the day before,if foden was fit he would have been there,we had 3 young players on the bench and diaz came on,buying into media crap is daft

I’m old enough to make my own mind up and it’s nothing to do with buying into media crap, really.

Moyes named just 6 against Huddersfield a couple of weeks ago.

IF Scott I have just finished my Homework McHominay is as good as they say then why did they waste 89 million on PigBad ?

Fed up of this "60 years on; let's shake the Munich tree again" documentary on 5Live. Yes, lots of people died, and that is very sad, but I have not one ounce of sympathy for that Sh**thouse of a football club after the way they treated the families of the dead. Absolute f**king SCUM!

Disagree Karen , and If you dont buy into the media crap , then its rather odd that you would contribute to the thread , like it or not the media does have a massive influence on how our club is perceived and i dont believe posters are daft for commenting on the mostly idiots who pass for journos and pundits and who for some , have an obvious agenda with our football club.
Pep was making a point about the many disgraceful tackles we have suffered by naming six subs , and i dont think we would have had to beam a player barely 30 minutes away , but Pep chose not to , for once this season and with hindsight he got this wrong , the PGMOL & F.A. will not take any notice of Pep's protest , but the media are having a field day .

Just had a thought - Maybe we can get the carpenter to design a longer bench - say seats 12 - for Saturday............lol
Meejah ! would 'slam ' Pep for that........lol
