That said, to the "Aguero Clappers Club", let's not confuse criticism of individual games for criticism of Aguero at all times.

Sure, go after the dolts who say things like "He simply isn't good enough" but let's not confuse those dolts from others who's claim.fall into the "he was shit today" crew.

Criticizing performance is acceptable, extrapolating into the future isn't (especially when it is against every known indicator.)

Aguero is not shit but he was just so good in his prime that we have such high standards of him, so his decline bothers us. Aguero no longer has the pace he used to have and can’t dribble around defenders anymore.

This brings us to his first half where he wasted many chances because he was holding on to the ball too long. Without the speed and the dribbling ability he has to shoot early.

Lo and behold I think Pep must’ve told him something at half time because after that he was quick to either pass it or shoot it.
