Sergio Aguero - 2017/18 performances

I can't defend him anymore. He seems to be a deadly, world class striker one-third of the time and a lazy, uninterested shit the rest. People still think he's better than Kane but I don't see it. He could be if he worked harder. Today was dreadful, and he wasn't the only one, but I wasn't at all surprised because he's put in about a dozen such performances this season. Jesus may not be firing but at least with him you know you're going to get commitment and movement.

That for me is the signs of the beginning of the end of a great player.

Many forget Sergio has been playing football at a professional level since he was 15. He has already had pretty much a careers worth of games by the age he is at now.

Not in his best form but have still been way better than Jesus and Sane lately.

See he is going to get the blame, most of them were poor and he hit the post and brought out a good save from the keeper, but its his fault

Aguero has been on and off all season.

Legend, but not the player he once was.

I love him to bits, but I will be suprised if he is wearing blue next season.

I will get slated for this but Sergio for me has looked like he is coming to the end at City now.

He still has world class moments but his overall game and goal scoring in general isn’t as effective as it once was.

I can see why maybe Pep wants to replace him.
Not slated from me, I would agree that he is no longer the player he was

Kane is miles ahead of Sergio and has been for a few seasons. He’s been a passenger in this team since he got injured in September. It doesn’t help that Jesus has turned into the Brazilian Darius Vassel lately.

I think the club has a serious decision to make in a few months. I love Kun and appreciate everything he has done for this club but this summer is probably the last time the club can expect to receive decent money for him, should we let him go. It's either that, or we watch his decline for the next couple of years and he leaves for nothing. He will still score goals and will still look unplayable on certain days but his influence is clearly on the wane. If the club sold him for decent money (£70m+) I don't think I would be devastated.....dependant on the replacement.
