Yes was a bit slow. Hoping Id corrected myself before anyone noticed .The rags have 59 points. With ten to play, the most they can get is 89.
We have 72 points. 89 - 72 = 17.

89 if they beat us at homeThe rags have 59 points. With ten to play, the most they can get is 89.

Is it still on? & apologies if this has already been covered but given instructions not to travel, weekend games already off, reduced public transport services etc why hasn't this been shifted to blank weekend of 17th?
Rags will not win all 10 games,we need another 12 pts its all over. The rags have 59 points. With ten to play, the most they can get is 89.

I'm sure we'll be up for it, in fact I'm predicting most of the team will be in short-sleeves!
Why is that?
Who knows what will happen. But don't forget, we beat Liverpool in the final last time, then immediately played them again and got tonked 3-0!I think it's a underestimation of this squad's mentality for so many to be suggesting Arsenal might be more up for this than us. It's not unreasonable to expect a reaction from Arsenal and i'm sure they can't be as bad as they were on Sunday, but why would they be more up for it than us? They're demoralised and they've got shit all to play for in the league. They haven't been able to lift themselves when it's needed for most of this season so why are people expecting them to do it now AND to a better level than us?
Seems to be an assumption our players won't be up for this because of the weather but tbh I think that says more about how are fans are feeling about it rather than the players. We're desperate to get the league sewn up asap and we also have players trying to nail down a position in the team. Not saying we're definitely going to win tonight, but we'll every bit as up for it as they are.
One win in 32 visits to Arsenal so i heard before. Thats unbelievably poorBut we've got an inferiority complex as a club as soon as we travel to Merseyside. We don't have that at Arsenal/London anymore.
Me too!Dont be such a tart, played in far worse in the Macc Sunday League.....and that was pre season friendlies in August.
Pointless statistic. People need to realise these aren't the same players or management team that played the last 32 times there. expect us to repeat the dose! One win in 32 visits to Arsenal so i heard before. Thats unbelievably poor
Edit. Already been mentioned.
Two things on this:Who knows what will happen. But don't forget, we beat Liverpool in the final last time, then immediately played them again and got tonked 3-0!

If we were playing Chesterfield ten I’d agree but arsenal are also a footballing team.Because it is absolutely a leveller.
Probably the only survivors from that game are Merlin , Vinny , Kun and Toure , so really a completely different side and manager and the mentality of this side cannot be compared , Pep has instilled a stronger team ethic , but some of us fans will fear the worse , its the City way , and then hopefully we will be pleasantly surprised after the game and wonder what all the fuss was about. No matter what Wenger says to his team before hand , its all piss and wind if they arent good enough.
