But we've got an inferiority complex as a club as soon as we travel to Merseyside. We don't have that at Arsenal/London anymore.
Will take a huge pep talk from...well Pep...to get the players up for this. Will still be in party mode but arsenal owe their fans and it will be a tough game for us to show the same fight for. However this is a new city and the manager is the man to drive this team forward. I can see an open game with Ferny out but chances for both sides.
I think half the problem is very few Mancunians actually call it a sarnie. If we had a player called either muffin or barm then all of a sudden..Just me who finds this unbearably cringeworthy?
Yeah, Arsenal fans seem to be pretty pessimistic about their chances but I think it will be a very open game. Our records away at Arsenal is pretty dire, and Fernandinho is a huge loss. Can see it being a score draw.

Anyway, I think whilst we're favourites tonight we shouldn't get too ahead of ourselves. We don't know what Arsenal will show up tonight and they have a habit of scoring goals against the run of play vs us so we ought to just be on our toes.
They did it in all three of the fixtures last year and the home one this year. You might be right but we'd be foolish to take Sunday's match for grantedNot much of a habit, seeing as they missed out Sunday.

If we really want to win the title then we will make it twice in 33We’ve only won once in our last 32 away League games at Arsenal.
I think it's a underestimation of this squad's mentality for so many to be suggesting Arsenal might be more up for this than us. It's not unreasonable to expect a reaction from Arsenal and i'm sure they can't be as bad as they were on Sunday, but why would they be more up for it than us? They're demoralised and they've got shit all to play for in the league. They haven't been able to lift themselves when it's needed for most of this season so why are people expecting them to do it now AND to a better level than us?
Seems to be an assumption our players won't be up for this because of the weather but tbh I think that says more about how are fans are feeling about it rather than the players. We're desperate to get the league sewn up asap and we also have players trying to nail down a position in the team. Not saying we're definitely going to win tonight, but we'll every bit as up for it as they are.

Edit , no 5 , theres me thinking we were still 16 ahead.
