Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Personally I really don't think Pep's style would be a good fit at international level, he simply wouldn't get enough time with the players to implement it. However, unlike most I don't get the feeling he will be staying with us as long as we hope.

I don't even think Pep knows how long he will stay. I suppose it depends a lot on whether his wife and kids are happy in Manchester.

The MLS season is a relatively short one, plenty of opportunities for a committed FA to set up training camps, provide national contracts to players outside of their club contracts, modify the season to optimise this. The best way for USA to do well in the World Cup would be to be efficient & hard to beat imo. Not trying to outpass Spain & Germany.

Not sure about it being a strong likelihood but isn't it a joint bid involving Canada, Mexico and the U.S.A?
 
I wouldn’t be too surprised if Pep signed to stay another 5 years. Everything is in place for him to build something amazing here.
 
Weren't there a couple of Bayern fans on here who were insistent he wouldn't renew? I wonder what take they have on all this?

There was one in particular who was adamant he wasn't even going to come here in the first place let alone renew.
