Its not a City fan's responsibility to watch Argentina and Italy just because its at our ground. What next;- getting blamed for no-one watching Bon Jovi?
Take it for the compliment it is boss, look past the insult and see the pain hehe. If i was down to picking on stuff not even related to utd to knock them it would be time i re-evaluate my position. Namely to one of shutting the ef up and accepting i have no ammo and they are actually very good. Fortunately utd give us more ammo than a god fearing middle american prepper.

I can dine of the failure of Pogba and the cash they spent on him for at least 5 years as an example :-D

I'm still on the soup course after they sold Veron.

Currently the theme throughout the media is that a certain liverpool player should win the poty award over a certain City player. There are countless articles narrating and highlighting this, yet i have not once seen an article where a past City player has been asked why KDB or Silva etc should win this award

Seems that they are desperate to stop a City player from winning it.

It’s amazing how the only game people
remember is the 4-3. We were winning and playing well before Mane was sent off at the Etihad. Oh and we smashed them 5-0!

News Now Manchester City is all about...........

You guessed it, Liverpool.

In a way I can't f***ing wait until the tie is over.

On the plus side, at least it's not the final.

Can you image the media w**kfest over Liverpool FC.

24 hour Liverpool FC in the European Cup and CL.

It's almost like the Salah for POTY over KDB was some kind of narrative the press came up with and then set about trying to make happen.
Like the Duke brothers in Trading Places.
I fear they were 2 months too late. Wasn't the voting done in early Jan?

There really is a negative media slant on all things City

Matthaus says Klopp can beat Guardiola
Ex Liverpool players spouting on about Salah for POTY
Guardiola is a dog and a coward
Aguero is leaving
Stones is finding City "difficult" implication is he is not happy at City
The world and his mother offering advice about how teams can beat City and who they should buy to make it happen

There are no ex City players being asked about City or Guardiola

This is not about agenda but it is about bias

Both totally correct. I aint holding my breath for any of our players receiving any award.

The hype for the dippers will be their undoing. It's as if the players are shitting it and the media are trying to fluff their semis into thinking they won't get battered.

Look at Rush's face when the draw was made. Pure fear...

They can handle being spanked by Madrid/Munich/Barca. But City....It would hurt them as much as the sick swan did the rags.

Jonathan Northcroft (bitter Rag?) in yesterdays Sunday Times

"Manchester City: Are they the Premier League’s best ever?

Pep Guardiola’s side are special but they have some way to go to match Sir Alex Ferguson’s treble-winning Manchester United team of 1999".

Not sure about some way to go. And what does Treble-winning have to do with it when the question is "Are they the Premier League’s best ever"?

Funny, but I seem to remember that season, they managed to beat a lot of the bottom half clubs by a fair margin, but struggled to scrape wins or draws against the bigger teams. They had more than their fair share of dubious (bent) refereeing decisions, which were worth more than a few points to them; especially some of those penalty decisions at the Swamp.

Yet, despite all the shocking decisions we have had against us this season, we could win the title with 5 games to go, a record goal difference, and a record points margin. I know who most neutrals would prefer to watch in the PL this season, and they play in Sky Blue.

And when the Rags were dominant it was generally just a two horse race. With the quality of the Premier League now no-one could have predicted how we turned a six horse race into a canter, we are Frankel and the rest are carthorses.

I'm not bothered about Liverpool being bigged up - in many ways it would appear to be putting the pressure and weight of expectation on them. Klopp is one of the biggest offenders for putting pressure on his team - in some ways it could reduce us to underdog status and they may actually believe their own press, then hopefully they'll be in for a spectacular fall
