still amusing how The Sun desperately tries to pander to the Dippers after what they did.

I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't sell out till after the first leg, plenty of people were in the "oh, fuck" frame of mind when they'd bought Basel tickets before the first leg.

It would be hilarious if it wasn't so tragic. It actually reads like it was written by a Liverpool fan with the old cliches about "tickets like gold dust at Anfield", etc, but no Liverpool fan worth their salt would be seen wiping their arse on that shit stain of a rag.
In any case, it astonishes me how a club can be "struggling to sell out" a football match that is still 13 days away, is on the verge of selling out in the next hour, and where tickets only went on sale 8 days ago with all kinds of restrictions put in place to stop as many away fans getting in the home areas as possible. Not only that, although we both have similar capacities, Liverpool had less tickets to shift to their fans as UEFA took up the full allocation of 2500 or so at Anfield whereas they returned what looked like a good 1000 tickets or so for the game at ours in blocks 303 and 304 which subsequently went back on sale to our fans.
WTF?
"Liverpool had no issue whatsoever in selling tickets for the first of the two clashes."
"In fact, a host of Reds supporters were left frustrated after the tickets were snapped up in the blink of an eye."
"Tickets for games at Anfield are like gold dust as it is, but this game - another potentially memorable European night - was something else."
"Man City is now expected to be partially empty for the clash with Liverpool"
Seriously how are they still in circulation?
You'd think their own paper wouldn't print lies...If that's correct then so much for the Liverpool Echo stirring it about us not selling out. Really hope we put this lot to the sword. Their arrogance is unbelievable.
Too late for this game but in future just ring the ticket office and relocate your seat to an area where you can buy your boys a ticket, I've done so for the Pool match, moved my mate's ST to be sat with a few of us a couple of blocks away. Supporter Services make it a simple process (honest!)It was a bit strange how they sold these. I want two for my 9 year old lads who each have a purchase history. By the time they became eligible the whole of my block (328) was sold so I couldn't get 2 together anywhere near me, or even in the same stand. Yet there were thousands of equivalent seats available in the East Stand and all the other stands. So my lads aren't going and City have missed out on 2 sales because they appear to have sold the ground unevenly.
This has completely sold out now by the looks of the ticket planner.
231 gone now and the few red blocks don't seem to have any seats in them .Still a few red blocks and block 231 is still orange with seats together

231 has went very quickly, I'd keep trying as tickets can be in folks baskets then released after it times out.
