United (H) Post Match Thread

Those saying don't blame Pep. Why take out a personal spat with an agent the day before a derby. Riling Pogba worked really well didn't it.

Pep has made more mistakes in 3 days than he has all season and for many supporters badly tarnished a great season.

We probably will still win it eventually but that might be in May at this rate when it should have been a record early.

Today was a game there is no excuse for losing. None. It was not the ref. Not bad luck. It was losing all urgency thinking it is easy.

We just gave our two biggest rivals for next season a huge boost. And can see us doing the same at Wembley next week.

Even if we win on Tuesday it will feel flat and like a loss.

We cannot forget all the good things and it will still be a great season but Pep should realise how much today has hurt supporters. He needs to see that today mattered more than Tuesday to us.

And today has taken so much shine off the season.

Thought it before the game and think it now, play your best 11 and look for momentum for Tuesday. Pep should have changed it up at 2-1 or even 2-2 and didn't. Fuck me what a shambles of a week. That 2nd half was abysmal and now were supoosed to go into the Liverpool game with confidence? Fucking fuming

Agree.

The beauty of hindsight....I honestly think our team is on the beach and had been for a couple weeks

After all...there a World Cup to prepare for

We allowed that twat Atkinson to stitch us up. Should have been out of sight by half time.

Clean sheet wont happen on tuesday. They had like 4-5 shots and scored 3 of those. Pool attackers better then these today...

Embarassing. David Silva and Kompany come out of that with credit, the rest should feel humiliated. Sterling was inexcusably bad. Aguero and De Bruyne definitely needed to come on sooner.

This isn't on Pep, but I feel deeply disappointed by his apparent indifference to this game. I want to look him in the eye and ask him what we were resting players for. The Liverpool game? That's over and he must surely know it.

I for one don't think the Liverpool game is over
From Ole's to defeat only City could do that.

All about Tuesday now but they way our defence just crumbles I'm not so sure.

No chance after that shower. No game management, no changes when they weren't at it in the second half, shit and to what should have been a great season

Sterling is so lucky he plays for us. It’s the only reason he’s scored as many as he has. He’s not good enough for a top team.

Jesus, what happened to PEG? He is pretty fucking humble nowadays.

Edit: referring to his post match

I'd rather lose than win the way that Scum won that. cheating diving faking injuries disgusting tackles with a compliant ref.
When you think of the tackles made by both sides and how many bookings each team got it mind boggling. how pogba didn't get booked when ferny and aguero got theirs I'll never know.
In the 8th minute when young made a rugby tackle with nothing given and the utd supporting commentator said he had no idea how a free kick wasn't given summed up how the ref would perform, and that's just the tip of the iceberg of how the game was reffed

This is worse than when we were crap for all those decades. At least we were used to disappointment. This is homage to those years and there is simply no excuse whatsoever.

He's a genius. He had us demolishing a major rival at half time to win the league by nineteen points.

It's not his fault Sterling can't finish or that we can't defend or that Atkinson is a United fan.

Sorry. Then thank you genius for a fcukin great week that’s far from finished yet.
