We're not allowed to criticise the atmosphere or compare it to other clubs on here but I agree.

Even getting behind them when they pulled the first goal back to gee the players up... it never happened, most of the crowd is reactive and waits for the players to get them going these days. It is the same at most clubs now in modern football but it doesn't mean we have to ignore it or that we can't yearn for a different approach. Maybe it wouldn't have made a difference but as much as it pains me to say it if that happened to Liverpool at Anfield they'd have immediately raised the roof off to wake their players up as soon as they made their way to the centre spot, I doubt Pogba would have got his second goal which was a result of players switching off.

what i was saying is however you cannot rely on refs to make these calls...these mistakes happen all the time.....you can only rely on yourself as a manager/player...and Pep got it wrong...Even int he first half we were well off it..nowhere near as good. Peps calls to not play both Silva and KDB were wrong, as was his decision to not go with a striker on the pitch....Gundogan was awful vs Liverpool the other night and was today despite his goal; he was completely anonymous..he just doesn't fit in despite being a very good player. Playing him over KDB was criminal

Come on - anyone can see how improved we are and how great we can play. The proble is the squad isn't strong enough as well as his recent decisions. The Christmas window coming back to haunt us now.

Total cock up by Guardiola. Sterling is a headless chicken...no composure...one of the worst finishers ever. How he merits a place in the team is beyond me. We would have been 5 up at half time if he had been on the bench. Sooner he goes the better. We will get stuffed by Spurs and then anything is possible. How this game could be considerer secondary to chasing a lost cause on tuesday defies comprehension. Would not be surprised if the s**te win the league with a game in hand.

I agree that he should be criticised for today.. but he gets this stick week in week out. He ain’t a striker. He gets pushed into that role because pep at times doesn’t play a striker and then he gets moaned at for missing poacher style goals (even tho he’s actually got a ton of goals this season). Let him be a winger/attacking mid. Pep should’ve player Aguero today
 
Okay it isnt great to lose the derby lads, but it used to be our City that just had to try and get the pleasure of winning it with then nothing to show at the end of the season, with united progressing to still win the league

Well the shoe is on the other foot. Bragging rights go to them today, but it is us going on to lift the league title now.

Poor finishing, really poor game management again from the players when conceding, bad referee decisions and a blatant penalty not given for 2 games in a row as well cost us. The same team schooled them in the first half, but let united who got a roasting come out and have a go - that is what is worrying

We were really off it today. Even in the first half we failed to press them adequately and win the ball back quickly. It just felt like the whole team had one eye on the game on Tuesday. And it’s not surprising when the manager has been talking about it and the team selection hinted strongly at it. Pep must learn from this. One game at a time. He has said it so many times this season, but he clearly doesn’t believe his own words.

Defenders... We don’t have bad defenders. We play in a way that exposes them horribly unless every single player in front of them is doing their job to a high standard. We don’t need to waste any more money signing centre-backs. We need clinical attackers that can finish chances and more than one defensive midfielder. Only one game this season we haven’t created more than enough chances to win the game, and that was entirely caused by dubious tactics and team selection.

I still can’t believe that we have nobody else able to play in Fernandinho’s position. So much money squandered on centre-backs that we’ve left enormous holes in other areas that are now exposing us. I hope we’re working hard behind the scenes to secure what we need to defend this title next season, because I don’t think we’re anywhere near as good as some people think.

Don’t deserve this club some of you miserable ****s.
It’s been a tough week but when we finally get over the line this fixture will be long forgotten and we will have two trophies to show off.

From earlier in the season i thought we were mentally strong but the last 2 games we've suddenly looked like weak shithouses.
