I don’t get how you don’t get this. As a city fan through all those years of pain and watching the vermin across town win everything.. today we had a chance to win the league against the rags.. never had that chance before and probably will never again have it. Pep approached the game like he didn’t get how important this would be to us. Even in his post match interview he’s fairly nonchalant about it

You've nailed it, he doesn't get it. And he's right but to get it. He's here to win trophies with a great team of world class players, not to repair the fans' psychological scars and hang ups.

At the end of the day nothing really changes as a result of that, we will win the league at some point but this week has seriously tainted our season. We've gone from debatably the best side this country has seen to simply worthy champions in a week.

Unless we perform a miracle on Tuesday, this season will be remembered in years to come as the time a great City side fell apart within 4 days. Nobody will recall smashing good sides throughout the season and going on a ridiculous wining streak, they'll remember getting stuffed at anfield and throwing away a 2-0 lead against our rivals in a game that could have won us the league.

Both the players and Pep are equally at fault for this. He's got the lineup wrong twice and the players have shown they lack a backbone twice. To give away a 2 goal lead at halftime when it should have been 4/5 and lose 3-2 is pathetic. After they took the lead we didn't even look like scoring again either just like in the Liverpool game.

I am just amazed at the amount of shit being spewed at our club by our so called supporters. If you are not proud of the football we have played all season then please go and support someone else.

I am standing by my team and they have my full support through this bad week. Will cheer them on Tuesday and then through the rest of the season. We are still growing as a football team and coming to terms with Pep's philosophy.

PS even if we lose on Tuesday, I will always be proud of our boys and the breathtaking football I was able to watch this season. We have made the world sit up and notice.

Two clear penalties not given but we wasted so many easy chances we can’t just blame it just on that. We should have been out of sight before half time.

No issues with the team selection at the start. I doubt Pep tells sterling, gundogan and Silva to miss every sitter they can

Even though we have had an amazing season the last two performances have certainly took the shine off what could have been the perfect season

United were absolute shite, but had three chances and buried each one of them. If we were any where near as clinical we would have won the league a long time ago

Resting KDB was fine as we were 2-0 up which should have been 4-0 if sterling had composure
The players started the second half really sluggish and as if Utd were going to be as shite as they were at the end of the 1st half and they could stroll through the game, I'm sure Pep didn't tell them to do that.

We lost because the back 4 bottled it as soon as they got one back. 4 fucking attempts and 3 scored, Bravo would be toast if he’d been in net yet that defending last season and today cost us. Atkinson was a further disgrace but that’s to be expected.
We walked out at HT thinking we’d won it. We haven’t.

Completely understand what your saying mate but I'm putting this in context. I watched City in div 2 but I'm angry becoz this years team deserves so much more this season and the last 2 results will affect that.

I'm disappointed for sure. Been a bad week. But I've been through much worse as a blue, and will go through much worse in the future. Clinching a title in April against Swansea or West Ham isn't too bad a consolation is it?

He should have given the aguero penalty you could see it even from the distance he was at. Red card probably not with his view. The handball is just a mystery in terms of the rules to be fair. There has been a change in refs attitude towards handball last couple of seasons.

I don't get the Pep bashing. Liverpool's front 3 are a nightmare for anyone. This was an odd game. It's clear we thought it was won at half time and it should have been. Otamendi has had a nightmare last 3-4 games and if I'm honest I'd ditch him for the liverpool game based solely on form. They ghosted in for all 3 goals and shit happens. If we score one more before the half or gundogan scores at 2-0 in the 2nd half were all on here calling Pep a genius for resting our best players and winning the league. Fine margins 'n' all that. Still, I'm shitting myself we go on a 6 game losing streak.....but that's the city in me.
