United (H) Post Match Thread

So when are we winning the league? 2 games to win, probably take a point at Spurs already tbf.

Come on, tell us your coaching badges? Seen as though you know best, tell us your football triumphs? I have played at old Trafford, Maine Road, Moss Rose, please tell me how you are so qualified?
Why would I need coaching badges? I’ve read your posts over the last few months and to put it bluntly you talk a huge amount of fucking shite.
You dismiss Pep regularly and don’t seem to grasp progressive football. The style that we’ve worked at this season has seen us called the best team in premier league history in some quarters. We’re on course to score a record amount of goals, notch up close to record number of points and will have two trophies to show for it. So forgive me for not piling on our manager who is the catalyst for all the good we’ve achieved this year because our players couldn’t put a game to bed when they had chance after chance after glorious chance.
Its been a shit week - I get it. It does nothing to make me change my mind that we’ve got the best manager in the business in charge. Anyone comparing him with Pellegrini probably shouldn’t be allowed near a computer tbh.

Jesus wept, this must be my first post, but we....MCFC, have Pep Guardiola as manager, and players that make the fans of other teams tongues hang out; look at how we play football!!! sometimes we won't get it right.....think of your boss at work and then imagine being managed by Guardiola!!...... remember sitting in the 2nd division as was? The football that we have seen this season has been eye watering sublime, an absolute dream to watch; to see some of the play and players we now have gracing the turf? We aren't going to win every game, suck it up, taste the defeats its what we're built on, "typical City...its in our DNA" we have Pep Guardiola as manager, just reflect and let that sink in again!! and the scousers and rags have made it a painful week but suck it up for Gods sake....we're MCFC "we never win at home and we never win away"......that's our song for good reason, we didn't just make it up off the hoof......r*d ca*e is in meltdown because they beat us "shi**y MCFC" 3-2 at home......let that sink in...the "mighty U*D" celebrating beating US at home! Onward and upwards, Pep Guardiola as manager......think of the sh*te we've had in the past and then just reflect on Pep Guardiola as manager

This "mentally weak" line is bullshit. Were we mentally weak when we won a whole spate of matches in the autumn in injury time?
We were careless today, at both ends.
Great teams lose from time to time. It sucks. But it happens. And Liverpool, Rags, Liverpool, Spurs is a hell of a schedule. We were never going to play our first XI in all those games...

First post gold.

In Canada 14 families are mourning their children and their lives will never be the same. In Germany families are mourning loved ones lost in a senseless killing. In Manchester 22 millionaires played a game of football and 1 team lost. A lot of people on here seriously need to get a fucking grip! It’s a game. Sure, it’s a way of life for some, and it’s United bearing us, but it’s just a game.
I stubbed my little toe earlier on as well.

Massively embarrassing result & game management. The 1st half display counts for fcuk all when you collapse like that.
Utter shambles. To lose a derby when we were so ahead is disgraceful professionalism.
Nothing hurts more than this at the moment. Totally inconsolable.
Any of you that think we have a chance v Candlepool after that debacle are as delusional as their fans. We will get fcuk all at Spurs too, yes we can still lose the league, no that’s not a challenge to the players either.
THIS was the game that mattered. Once in a lifetime chance to win the title at home against our biggest rivals. Disgusting.
Absolute Rag loving media wankfest on pretty much every channel and social site at the moment.
Atkinson shouldn’t be blamed for his total incompetence. If ever a game needed VAR, this was it. He should never be allowed to blow a whistle again. How he and the lino missed the assault on Kun is comical.
The players need to return their wages for that performance. Completely unacceptable.

Loads of shite mate they beat us end of don't care what it means to them only care about what it means to me. Sadly the players don't care either way.

Bad stuff happens every day mate we’re here to discuss football on a football forum.. you could say the same thing every day about any of the horrors that happen and don’t get reported

Swansea fighting relegation
West ham ditto
Huddersfield ditto
Christ mate, I'm a typical City pessimist, but if you consider those tough games then I fear for you. We should never have been beaten today, it was a freak result. The defence were shocking, and they took advantage.

Biggest concern is how we just collapse under a bit of pressure, not even like United were bombarding us or even playing well but they had a period of play in which they have 4 shots and score 3 goals. Need to learn to batten down the hatches or this will happen often, especially in Champions league.
