United (H) Post Match Thread

Irrelevant that we rested players. We were 2.0 and our players are responsible for collapsing. Didn't help that most of the ground stayed in the bar for second half kick off. Atmosphere was a disgrace given the scoreline.

Sterling's finishing is appalling. Those were big chances to kill the game... he needs to sort it out.

Atkinson not giving the pen was a disgrace and genuinely does make you wonder about corruption in the sport.

Have to say we have had some really bad luck in the last two games. Every break of the ball went the wrong way. Every 50/50 decision went against us. Another marginally offside goal for United today again not given. We get 2-2 today and could have even won it 3-2 with one of the two penalties.

Wednesday we were poor and yet with the right breaks that we got none of it could have been 2-2.

Today we were easily the better team but ran out of steam and again with breaks still should have won.

Our luck has to turn soon as we have had a ton of things go wrong in 3 days.

Just said exactly the same. United will soon realise they are just another game now. Like Stoke or West Brom. Upsets happen, big deal.

Ok mate, well done you, read my posts, and tell me how comparing them is different? Pellegrini got us to semi of champions league, league cup and league in first season, sorry forgot that sometimes you don't have to win a game with pretty football, you just have to win the game, sorry pep doesn't grasp that, it's all my fault that pep wants to entertain regardless of the result and occasion

It’s the derby! It was the derby with a chance to win the league in front of the rags.. I wouldn’t be half as bothered if it was stoke or something. I’d happily accept that Middlesbrough result under Sven compared to this cos it was the derby and a once in a lifetime opportunity

How was your heart at halftime coz I know mine was fine. Our defence was the problem, not the attack. Our panic at conceding is the problem not the attack. We created 6 clear chances, 2 clear penalties and scored 2 goals. That's fine. That end of the pitch is no problem. There's no guarantees that Serg is there for those chances. It's the defence and imparticularly the way we stop playing the city way when we're pressed after conceding.
 
From heaven to hell in 90minutes. Some twat launched a full bottle of water from level 2 that landed on an elderly guys head in 101. He had to get medical treatment. Some people are truly brain dead.
I am at a loss to reconcile the first half with the second. I need to see replays but it looked like truly woeful defending. It’s the last time I speak up for Martin Atkinson too. The best ref in the premier league was under orders today. We win together and lose together ( other than the twat in level 2 who should just fuck off to Anfield and enjoy being amongst kindred brethren).

We did it v Liverpool twice and now the rags . We don’t learn when they score play up the pitch and break the play up a little and do a sub or two to break the momentum. We don’t do that they score and our confidence goes down theirs up and we make more stupid mistakes playing it across the back. And poof in 20 minus they score 3.
 
Really disappointed to be honest, not very happy with the team selection, but without failure success is meaningless we become like united thinking that we have some god given right to success we have two hard games this week that where made harder by today's result and selection. but at the end of the day hopefully we will grow stronger from this spell
 
I know he scored a decent goal today but we need to replace Gundogan, he’s fucking hopeless. Soooooooo slow.
