We're asking a defence that can concede 6 goals in 35 minutes (19 at Liverpool, 16 United) to keep a clean sheet for 94 minutes?

Seems rather unlikely. I think we'll win 3-1 and go out.

We need to keep our shape and be on it from the very first minute.
Put them under pressure and don't give them time to settle.
Ideally we get an early goal but if not don't panic.
If we get to the last 20 minutes still needing a goal or 2 switch to 3 at the back and put Jesus along Aguero.

I think Pep will want a guaranteed 3 at the back just in case, but it also allows us to get pretty much all of our attacking players on.

The biggest problem with Sterling is that people forget that he is not a striker and how young he still is, compare him now to the player he was last year and you can see the difference. if we see the same improvement next season he will be a hell of a player.

The league is all that matters now......play the B team and rest key players for Spurs....of course Pep wont do this and no one would expect him to.

The rags game hit me MUCH harder than the Liverpool one. Liverpool was just fucking annoying, but we're shit when we play at Anfield, and it came as hardly any surprise.

but we needed to win yesterday, looked for all the world like we had won, and just tossed it away. It's probably the most frustrating game for me since the 97 minute Owen goal in the 4-3 at the swamp. Probably more so actually.
