I doubt they want to play a qualifying tie though. They need a replacement for Alderweireld and would probably prefer not having to deal with that as everyone comes back from the World Cup.

Well according to someone on here the top4 go straight into the group stage no qualifiers!

I
But we haven't played a derby either side of two intense CL matches have we? It was always going to be difficult with 3 intense games in 7 days.
It's actually a lot more intense than that. We've had Arsenal, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Rags, Liverpool and next up Spurs. That's tough. Lost the last 3. Looking for a positive draw on Saturday.

Be a tough game. A draw won't be the end of the world but lose and I'll be slightly worried. 2-2

Wow, that’s a welcome change. I’m not sure how far they are from Chelsea, but Spurs will at least need a result to make sure they’re clear.

Ederson
Walker
Delph
Kompany
Laporte
Fernandinho
D Silva
De Bruyne
Sane
Sterling
Aguero

Gonna be a tough one this, 2-1 city. I think we need a little of luck our way and we are definitely due it after the last few games

Really hope im wrong but something of a rarity in that i Just can't see us winning this one . After the week we've had, they'll be a serious hangover to deal with, there's not really anything to play for given the fixtures weve got after this and subconsciously players are going to want to start to condition themselves for the world cup, Spurs are in good form, just getting everyone back to full fitness and have a cup semi final place up for grabs so will be wanting to perform for that plus whilst we're not yet champions we've already got that aura around us and others want that scalp.

Would take a draw now in truth, come away without losing, steady the ship and put in some good performances in the remaining 5 games after that, break a few records whilst laying the groundwork for next season too.

I don’t like the idea of Demebele running past Gundogen all game and Otemendi trying to keep tabs on Kane. That’s before we get to dealing with Eriksson’s set pieces......

That said, if we get back to basics we should be fine. 433 and keep the ball and get Aguero on the pitch

If ever there was a "back to basics" time......this is it...!!

This needs to be the start of a six match winning streak ,lets break all the records and really punish the teams that we have left to play , no letting up , and then we can start planning for the next years title win and another crack at the European Corrupt League.

Spurs dont have a lot to play for and have their only chance of a trophy the weekend after, might have an effect.

Couldn't agree more, still plenty to play for in these last six games.
