Think they have been trying, they have known for a while they need to sell but have struggled selling players for what they need. Remember reading in January they were needing to bring in 80 mill plus.

If Paris get done for FFP they may have to forget signing Mbappe permanently to not fall foul of a likely hefty penalty.

Got to take into account it's the French league where PSG beat 2nd place 7-1 on the weekend. Take goals scored with a pinch of salt(as you would do with the Eredivisie), look at Lacazette as an example.
