This. Silva as a footballer. One of the best in his position I've seen. Yaya v Newcastle during the run in was immense and I'll always think of that and his goal v Villa when I think of him. Hart? Funny one. Vital player at times but just something about him I couldn't take to. Vinny? Honorary Manc, even married one and that footage of him at his in laws and the unadulterated joy when he scored against the Rags sealed it for me. Blue blood in his veins just like Zabba.
 
Silva without a shadow of a doubt.

Yaya has stepped up for us at the key moments, Aguero the most crucial moment of all. Vinny has been solid and a leader but unfortunately injuries diminished part of his role, Zab got us instantly and never ever let us down, he became one of us, however Dave has been the most consistent, the best since he came, the conductor who made the orchestra tick.

Best player ever in a sky blue shirt and it’ll be a sad day when he goes, reckon they’ll be plenty of tears that afternoon.
 
Silva, kompany, zaba, yaya, aguero.

All city legends, all with such an important role and connection to our club. They embrace everything that was and is our club, past, present and future.

It's much more than just football, i love David, Serg and Yaya but feel they could easily have gone to any other club if offered a deal. Obviously i can't be sure, but i dont think the same stands for Vinny. If i met him outside i think i could have a normal person conversation with him like i would with any other blue, but not really with the other lads (language aside) as they gave it all in a football sense, but Vinny seems to have given his whole life to it.
 
BOTH DAVE AND VINNY when they go and also serg when he goes how the hell are we going to replace these 3 players
 
I remember when you came up to play us in the CL and me having borderline heart failure level stress at the thought of wee Silva.

I sat thinking, we need to put three men on that wee ****. Then instantaneously thinking maybe four.

Then, fuck, he will just beat them and that’s four out of the game.

Every time he got the ball i aged.

Even given that though, I'm still going for David Silva.

The day will come soon enough when they will all be gone, but we will have moved on as a club a long way from 2012, its hard to think its already 6 years ago.
 
I think it’s harsh to pick just one of them. All four of them have their own stories. Sergio with that most memorable goal ever in English football, Vinny the captain, Yaya the big game player and Silva the best player to put on a City shirt. Nah, I’m not picking one.
