Reduced to a footnote? What a sad bitter little man, Real and Barca have achieved that feat only once in their entire histories(can anyone confirm if Real were the first in Spanish topflight football or not?) and they are both immensely proud of it.

It's also worth noting City did this in a PL era with a top 6, a pl from top to bottom with more money, top foreign managers, top players, diversity in tactics(90-00s hoofball/long ball PL aside from a few), fitter-healthier players... AND without a Messi or Ronaldo.

Nope he's saying it's not big deal by the looks of it, as in: "Yeah well Real Madrid did this along with lots of other stuff but that was reduced to a footnote"
By "triple liga, european and world champions" I take it he is talking about the players in that team rather than team as they didn't win any european cup or club world cup that year.

All I know is we won the league and everyone else can fuck off.
