In fairness ( don't want to be but... ) they have had all season with the media blowing smoke up their arses - the Fab Four - even though only one of them was responsible for almost half their teams goals, what did the others contribute? Free flowing attacking football - to finish 4th well adrift of us - charismatic manager - actually just an ego maniac who the press love as he's good for a sound bite - and of course all the romance of a 6th CL win........ or in actual fact rescuing another trophyless season.
So in the end they probably do feel more than a bit miffed and as is in their DNA lash out and blame everything - even now they are not being shown the truth the media still butter them up but the fact is ( and goes unmentioned ) they finished one point worse off than last year and won fuck all.
