General Videogame Thread

Really enjoying Detroit Become Human. I get these type of games aren't everyones cup of tea but I love them and this is the best one yet. The story is gripping, the characters are brilliant and well performed by the actors and there are a lot of difficult split second choices to make. And the graphics are just wow, especially considering it's a PS4 game.

Me too - knowing that I won't replay the story through though, I've been limiting myself to one or 2 chapters at a time. Agree about the graphics, only issue is the mouths looks wrong occasionally, particularly when doing an 'F' sounds.

Fallout teaser trailer. Can't say I've played any of them but People look excited over this

I'm excited, fallout 3 was brilliant, fallout 4 was something else all together, even more so after the DLC releases.

Genuinely excited at 45yo lol

Not confirmed. But there will be definitely some kind of multiplayer in it

I never have enough time to play the online versions and you always end up miles behind the uber geeks who play 24/7 and their characters are unkillable so to speak.

Ah well back to making my settlements on fallout 4 lol

Rumours are its an MMO like the elder scrolls online which I would be happy with as ESO has improved immensely over the last couple of years

I bet this game is Bethesda jumping on the Fortnite/PUBG gravy train. There is so much money in those type of games right now and we all know how money grabbing Bethesda has got with a billion different copies of Skyrim. They'll want a piece of the pie.

Is there even any remote plans for a new elder scrolls game? Been 7 years since Skyrim and it’s been milked to death now.

Next elder scrolls is pencilled in for around 2021 according to Bethesda. Starfield, Fallout 76, Doom 2, Rage 2 plus 2 more games not announced yet all before new elder scrolls. Plus Bethesda and Zenimax are fully committed to ESO for at least 2 more years. They are making good money off that (like GTA Online)

I’ve never really been able to get into ESO for some reason but loved Skyrim and even more so oblivion. Not sure why, just not a big online gamer.

Just done the

Junkyard

chapter in Detroit: BH, and have to say WOW. A seminal gaming moment for me, really kicks the story to life, and the graphics, sounds, atmos...everything just perfect.

So I swapped my Xbox x and got a ps4 pro with God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn and Uncharted 1-4.

God of War might be the best game I've ever played. I definitely feel like I've made the right choice. Haven't played any of the others yet!

Just played fortnite for the first time ever after my son downloaded it today. Jesus wept its hard, not managed to kill anyone in about 10 games so far. Started collecting guns and ammo, tried to do a bit of building, but anyone any tips for how to avoid just getting killed every time?
