What kind of an argument is that?

He has taken numerous penalties in Germany, with a much higher scoring rate that Sergio. That’s a fact.

Factually no doubt Your right, but,for me, our regular penalty taker needs to be a nailed on starter most weeks

Sadly for Ilkay, I can’t see that being the case too many times next season.
 
Thought this thread was about Jorginho if some of you want to discuss penalty takers take it to another thread
 
out of our two transfer targets this summer its jourginho that I'm concnered about....a pivotal position that we need to get right.....he has some fantastic and obvious attributes with his passing but I'm concerned about him playing vs the more physical, faster teams who press and will target him. Just have to wait and see i suppose and hope Pep and everyone else has got this one right.

Yeah i'd say physicality isn't his strong point but in those game where he'd face that we play Dinho with him or instead.

I think one of the main reasons we are signing him is due to his ability to beat the press, he's fantastic at it now and will improve even further under peps tactics and with the likes of Dave, Kev and Gundogan to play off of.
