Sane left out of Germany World Cup Squad

Absolutely shocked by this. Good for us, bad for him. Hope he doesn't feel that not playing for Bayern caused this. Paranoia on my part but it's one of the first thoughts that crossed by mind. It's impossible for me to believe he isn't among the best German nationals. Rest up Leroy and push on next season.
 
I am shocked that he has been left out, bad for everyone concerned in my opinion, Sane, us and Germany.

Hope he uses this as a motivator for next season.
 
Punishment no doubt for daring to spurn the German Rags.
 
The lad is going to Be up there with the best around very soon and they want him playing back in Germany most probably Bayern that’s what all this is about I reckon. Come back to Germany get back in the team they’ll want their poster boy playing in Germany not England
 
With the mechanical way Germany play I'm not surprised they don't want anybody with flair in the squad!

how can he not get into that squad and germany are going to miss his pace and skill in the world cup, many teams have gone with pace and youth this time and in big games hitting on the break will be key for most teams. maybe the manager wants to get the sack after being made to sign a new contract and sees it the only way out
 
Based on his City form a crazy decision but if his form for the national has not replicated his City form and he is not used in the same way it would make more sense. Hopefully it will not affect his confidence and make him more determined to make his presence felt over the next few years.

You maybe not to far away about him not moving and playing for Bayern...
Maybe the coach is sending a message on behalf of German football?
It was similar for a while in Italy - if you played outside of Italy you simply
did not represent or play for Italy.

Form would be a reason to not start him. They're taking Brandt, Reus, and Draxler and you'd have a hard time saying that any outperformed Sane over the past 2 years. And that's ignoring other midfielders of a different sort who are also on the plane for them (Kroos, Khedira, Gundogan, Rudy, and Goretzka is a lot of CM types)

Er no selecting Draxler and Brandt over Sane is like shooting yourself in the foot. Good news for everyone else at the world cup and that's for sure.

He doesn't replicate his club form for us when playing for Germany. He also doesn't fit the compact system that Low prefers. Plus Reus plays in the same-ish position. madness I know, he'd be one of the first choices for England.
