Yaya says Pep "does not like African players" - Pep says "he's lying and knows it"

I thought it was pretty obvious in Pellegrini's final season that Yaya was done at the very top level. He arguably had a minor renaissance for a few months during Pep's first season but this last season he was absolutely terrible, he wasn't even up to short substitute appearances and looked nothing more than a passenger in the much changed league cup teams where in theory he should have been one of our strongest players. It takes a gargantuan lack of self awareness for him to not recognise that he was a million miles away from justifying a place in our first 11. I actually believe he was as important as literally any other player when it comes to us breaking into the elite level but never in a million years is he even close to being a club legend because he's repeatedly and deliberately shat all over his own legacy. If I was Pep I would be taking legal action because the African footballer stuff is a fucking disgrace.

Yeah, totally agree with all that. There have been quite a few incidents I remember off the top of my head besides the birthday cake. Didn't he go mad when he didn't win African Player of the Year once? That was piss poor. And his agent has mouthed off loads of times too. Agents do not make public comments without the go-ahead of their client.

I bet City are furious with him after giving him pointless games time (which could have been given to Foden, Diaz etc) and also that big farewell.

It's been said countless times before when Yaya was at the club that legal action was required, but now he's no longer at the club there is no reason to hold back. Him and his agent need to be done for slander, ASAP. Seluk especially, thinks he has carte blanche to say whatever he wants without repercussion.

Hope we rescind his season ticket and remove his plaque at the CFA. Once I worshipped this fat man, now he’s dead to me. How can one be so daft to come out with shit like this after getting the ”perfect” send off despite pissing on the club multiple times in the past. F*ck off Yaya.

Been whoring themselves out to the rags for weeks. Absolutely pathetic from the pair; the irony being that after these comments no right minded City fan would give a shit about seeing him in a scum shirt. Good riddance.

I hope he does join the scum.
Him and pogba in midfield, would be hilarious.

Prove you're not a racist then.
?? You prove you're not.

If you go back to the original post you'll see BTH totally misunderstood my post (p46). He inferred it was impossible to disprove a racist slur.
I'm saying Pep by his own actions and career has proved he's not a racist and Yaya's disgusting accusations are the rantings of an egotistical fool.

I'd love to see him shuffling around like an old man in their midfield and slowing their game down even further.

Part of the problem comes from when Pep first arrived and firmly put a few of the big swinging dicks in their place.
Yaya being one and Hart being another.
Yaya couldn't handle it and he has obviously brooded on it to such a degree we now get this outpouring from him and his agent.
Under both Mancini & Pellergrini 'player power' was king and they knew it.
From the moment Pep stepped through the door all of that changed. Some players can and have handled it well.
Others like Yaya & Hart are now literally history. It must be hard to take for them but that is how it is and how it should be.
Seluk is now claiming that Yaya is ready to sign up with another top 6 club. However, I doubt it because as we know
after seeing Yaya close up on a regular basis for the last couple of years he is now way past his sell by date.
He was about as much use as a traffic cone towards the end and in a Champions League games he was a very weak link.
It's unfortunate as very few blues will now wish him luck and he will get a hot reception if and when he returns to the Etihad
at any time in future. It's a travesty how it's all finished up for him but 100% self inflicted. You reap what you sow...

Yaya in all my years has scored some of the most important goals for the club but I will not remember him with the same affection as Sergio Pablo David and others which is a shame definitely now a tarnished memory

Which should see a move back to being able to have a few African players if so desired. Not too many clubs out there that have more than one or two at this point in time I'd say.

The fact most African teams tend to be shit probably has more to do with it but no it must be because managers are racist. The mind boggles
