Yaya says Pep "does not like African players" - Pep says "he's lying and knows it"

I guess we won't be hearing the Yaya Kolo song again.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but at Yaya's farewell Kolo Toure was incredibly positive about Pep. Had his brother not put him in the picture or was the bile manufactured after that?

I’m thinking this is all part of a master plan where Yaya goes to United this summer and completely fucks up their season as Mourinho is forced to play him every game amid concerns over African shirt sales and potential accusations of racism.

Yaya remains a City legend.

I think accusing City of preventing him seeing his dying brother was far worse than this load of shit, yet people still defended his behaviour. This guy has tried to destroy any feel good factor after every successful season to further his own cause (longer contract/more money). Yet again people have come on here defending him.
Like many i assumed he had realised he wasn't getting another pay day from us, so was no point shit stirring any more. I just hoped all the previous accusations were just a misguided attempt to get more money and nothing really personal. So when asked if he deserved a good send off i agreed. If only to acknowledge his contribution in the earlier part of his City career.
I'm actually pleased he has come out with all this crap. If only to show himself for the self absorbed piece of shit he really is and not worthy of any praise given previously/in the future...

Maybe someone spiked his coke again?

I'm so glad we've had and still have real legends in recent times. Zab, Komps, El Mago, Sergio. Kev and Bernardo both look like they have their heads screwed on. We've been truly blessed.

It only takes one period of stupidity to tarnish a reputation, but three completely rips it up and buries it.

As people have said, one of, if not the, most complete player we've had (for a bit), but an absolute bell-end.

For me he didn`t exist once him and his agent pulled the birthday cake bullshit. C*nt of a man, who should have left the club about 3 - 4 seasons ago. legend my arse.

The thing is we did give him another pay day, last season. Who pushed for that? Pep.
He is (or was) a great footballer but he's also a sneaky, vindictive, petty liar.

Yaya is an absolute disgrace of a human being. It's a shame the club named a training ground after him. And not say.....Zabaleta?

I'm not even disappointed by this. It's expected from this ****. it's no coincidence that we had our best ever season with him playing no role whatsoever. Fernandinho is twice the player Yaya ever was. Overrated POS.

There's no way Yaya will go to Utd. I know they're shit but they are still far too good for that fat lazy piece of shit. I doubt he could hold his place in and PL team let alone and of the top 6.

He and his agent are so full of shit. Surely no to PL team can guarantee him playing time and won't want to risk him upsetting the dressing room if he's not playing a lot. And I doubt his ego will allow him to sign for a weaker team where he might be a first team regular.

In theory he might get into some of the mid table teams, but I'm not convinced that will appeal now that he's targeted a place in the top six.

I suspect China (or somewhere off the beaten track - Russia? Turkey?) for big money might still be an option.

He'll go where the money is. No question. He is not a philanthropist any more than his agent is.

We can look at it anyway we want. But Yaya has truly destroyed his reputation towards the club. Even if it's about Pep. Whatever his agent is coming out with nowadays is totaly irrelevant as the person that is his agent is totaly irrelevent as a human being. Yaya should have come out after retiring and publish it in a book or whatever. At this moment of time I feel he has not only harmed Pep, but also the players, fans and club.

This is exactly why I think the club should reconsidder naming stands or playing fields after players, or starting statues. Unless the player has played a minimum of 10 years for the club, left the club for over 10 years, and by that point to be considdered a legend.

I would have no calms renaming the Yaya Toure-trainingpitch.

Ha yeah, not to mention what he's asked people to err...how do i put this...pick up for him. And the club having to get someone to get him out of bed on tours, the drinking fines (muslim? lol)...'allegedly'.

Yep, I feel sorry for our people in Abu Dhabi, they indulged him for far too long, his lack of professionalism made Tevez seem almost Lampard-esque!

Always talks about himself in the third person, which I initially put down to any type of language miscommunication there might be.

But no, he's the most egotistical footballer I have ever come across in two decades.
