Not sure what their finances are like or what the final fee would be - just saying that from Leicester's point of view they won't care who they sell to providing that it's a pound more than what they're offered now. There's plenty of time left for them to begin to panic about losing out on any deal. Especially with the World Cup going on and possibly interrupting attempts to replace the outgoing player.

Yeah, It's been quiet for a while now. The next 'genuine' new's we hear will be either we've come to an agreement or walked away for whatever reason. All the rest is speculation/made up clickbait bollox.
