I bet you we have. The PFA would be on our case if we'd done anything that they would see as "breaking" that contract. Now you may argue (rightfully) that Toure also broke his contract by speaking out the way he did. But the club would probably consider it not worth the effort to take any action against him. Not when he only had x weeks left on his contract.

You can't seem to grasp the idea of the modern day footballer trying to become bigger than the club,there are fucking loads out there,and we are no exception,I wouldn't let it get to you,because once you start thinking on those lines,it takes away the thoughts of what a fantastic player he was for us,and face it,he was.

I couldn't give 2 fucks what he said or did off the pitch,whilst he was with us,and also couldn't give 2 fucks if he think's pep is a racist or not,but for a long while he put a shift in at City which helped enable me to see us lift quite a few trophies,of which I am thankful for,and stayed behind after the match to show my appreciation,now he's left the club,I don't care what he does or says,just like i didn't when he was with us

Fucking lazy Toure never "put in a shift" - what he did is go forward brilliantly - completely unstoppable in his prime. He played a major part in our success.

The saddest part of this is that Yaya is actually an amazing defender when he tries - if he gives the ball over when charging forward on offense he's pissed off and actually tries really hard on defense. On numerous occasions I've seen Yaya pull off defensive plays that no one else on the planet could replicate due to Yaya's unique combination of height, ability, lankiness.

Yet, you and others are willing to forgive Yaya for being a lazy fuck on defense and a complete asshole as a person in general - giving not one whit for our club and only caring about himself.
