Not all the public.
Where I was watching , all the anti-Sterling whinging was coming from a small group who turned out to be ...surprise surprise....rags.
Two City fans, two Sunderland fans, a toon fan, two villa fans , an Oxford fan, and a PNE fan all told the m to shut the fu*k up or fu*k off.
They chose the latter course of action.

I’m prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt as a blue Tom. Can’t you see the bigger picture and see exactly what Sterling offers and why opposing defenders dread playing against him?

ITV full of praise for razz as well, just brain dead know nowt fans that slag him off.
 
Sterling was without doubt in the top 3 or 4 England performers today. The BBC doing their player rating thing undoubtedly gives red plastics of both persuasion (majority of whom aren't even fucking English) an opportunity to register their pathetic views.

Fair enough. I started the day telling myself I would be a bit more positive and patient, even in the face of moronic or malicious behaviour (after a torrid week)... that was my attempt. ;-)

The problem is the majority don’t even understand football ,sterling missing chances is frustrating but there’s far far more to his game than being on the pitch to score goals,if that was the case then Southgate would have hooked him after Tunisia or Panama game and started wellbeck or rashford for the other games,it’s football fans with the iq of a peanut that are venting about sterling ...
 
He has to at least pass it to Kane on his 1v1 but he played well today, he's the one bit of explosiveness in this team

Anyone who called for him to come off today or be dropped for the SF, well you know they don't understand football one bit.

On a more general note, tho they created it, it's clearly not just a media thing.
