Pep also wanted his new signings in for the start of pre season training which is tomorrow? With Napoli already announcing his replacement and extra players on top then I also personally think this is done and we possibly might get news today

The Leicester squad left for pre-season training in France earlier today if reports are correct....will be interesting to see if he joins them in the coming days!

Mahrez is yet to return to pre-season training with Leicester. The bulk of the squad returned last Monday but the 27-year-old and Algeria team-mate Islam Slimani were given extra time away after featuring for their country in early June.

The Leicester squad fly out to France on Sunday ahead of a training camp in Evian-les-Bains, in the Alps. If the deal does not go through in the coming days, Mahrez could join Claude Puel and co. at the camp.
