But lost out to Fred and lost at here after seemingly been nailed on for weeks.
Don't get it, he's playing for a team that's not in the CL.
Like I say very disappointing as we need midfield additions.

Maybe i should put a tin hat on but what if Thiago was the number 1 choice with Jorghino as backup. Maybe we couldnt afford Thiago but tried to get Jorghino at a lower price. Now we seem to have extra money from sale of Gunn etc maybe we have ditched Jorghino and intend returning for our number 1 target who we can now afford. (I know I will get my coat)

No, not budging from your position and hoping they'll cave isn't walking away, it's trying to force their hand.



Also your solution is to just be weaker. Accept that Fernandinho will be worse, being older and not having had a break, and hope that players out of position can make do. Sorry but that's not the attitude of a winning team.

Also I don't know why you'd assume City have known for a while, The italians are saying this all happened v. suddenly, not unlike the Alves transfer which by all accounts took City completely by surprise last summer.

I said City would know, not that they will have sat on info for any length of time. It's sounding more and more it has been Jorginho stringing us along waiting for the Sarri situation to develop.

At least Alves changed his mind after Neymar moved to Paris and persuaded him to not come here.

People chill we had a price we where will to pay for jorginho Napoli valued him higher then we were willing to go. We arnt desperate or begging for players to join we have a budget and it appears a deal couldn't be done. We have fernandinho and gundogan who can play that role with delph, danilo and kdb all more the capable of covering for fernandinho if he is out. If we go out and look to sign a replacement there are plenty to choose from such as ndombele, kovacic maybe soler plus we have an option for mooy who is a very decent player we are hardly over a barrel.
