At some point you can only take people at their word.

City briefing as they are, can only be as a result of speaking directly to his agent at some point during today.

The agent could well have lied to buy them some more time, but there has to be a judgement call from City, having worked with all the parties involved.

I don't see what's in it for ADL by helping a departing player leverage better wages from City.

So we agreed a deal 2 weeks ago? But City think this Chelsea thing is just a ploy and Jorignho wants us.

Doesn't make any sense.....why hasn't he already signed for us already if that was the case?
