the move should have been prevented before it got anywhere near Stones, Tripper had a chance to make a challenge as he did blocking off the scorer of the first goal.

Stones was outstanding, this game and all the tournament.

Issues of tiredness and injury weren't dealt with, taking Walker off when Tripper was injured. Dier on for Henderson when he wasn't't having a bad game (too like for like) Alli was awful and they didn't replace him, took Sterling off when he was our only threat, we became pedestrian and replaced players with players that were even slower. When it got tough, Southgate got found out.
