This guy could be a danger

I reckon Boy George has nightmares about being stuck in a lift with him.

Imagine moving from Rome to Liverpool, what a downgrade.

They are fucked about though. Salah was their 3rd choice for the position because the others turned them down, they wanted Keita but got rejected so had to wait a year.

They were forced to wait 6 months for VVD and pay a world record fee for a defender, £20m more than any other CB.

Here they are doubling the world record for a goalkeeper. No shit they aren't being fucked about, Roma can't believe their luck.
Talk about landing on your feet!
Surely if Klopp doesn’t deliver silver wear this year he’s out

Watched most Brazil matches in the World Cup and didn't see anything special about Alisson. Seems mind-boggling that just last season we broke the record for the most expensive keeper in £ at £35m, yet now Liverpool are almost paying DOUBLE that for a keeper.

Something tells me there's some level of compensation for the Salah deal going on. No chance Roma would let him go for anything near a reasonable price after their last dealing with L'pool.

Alisson + Van Dijk = £141m

Ederson + Laporte = £93m

And there was me thinking we had overpaid...

Liverpool I have to say are doing well here. On the back of CL run and big Coutinho money they are slowly addressing problem areas. Going into matches last August with Klavan, Mignolet, Can, Henderson, Origi, and this August having VVD, Allison, Fabinho, Keita and Shaqiri is some major upgrading. They might see the gap close in the league but in a head to head with us we might benefit more from having less changes this season.

I thought he looked really, really suspect under crosses. Every corner that came in he flapped at, missed, or just didn't go near, and it could have cost them quite a few goals but they got let off by poor finishing or some good work by defenders.

Look at the Switzerland goal here -

Zuber heads that ~4 yards out? Keeper unobstructed, unchallenged, and just doesn't come for an easy ball.

That could have happened half a dozen times at the world cup, and if Liverpool's goalkeeping coaches don't fix it, it will happen a lot in the premier league.
