The very reason you shouldn’t base a signing on numbers and stats, Mr Pearce! One of the slowest, lead footed players ever surely?Corradi.

David or Trevor? Trevor was very average apart from the Valley Parade goal and the 5-1. Saw his debut and it didn’t bode well.Rae Ingram. David Morley.
Andy Hill is harsh I thought he was pretty good back in the day. Not the quickest but a decent signing.Ged Brannan
Jim Whitley
Andy Hill
Eike Immel
McMahon was past his best at City but I remember our form dropping after he was stretchered off and he missed some games.Trevor Christie. Signed by Billy McNeill in the summer of ‘86 and touted as being a 20 goal a season replacement for Mark Lillis - who was a hard working centre forward who scored 15 goals the season before if my memory serves me right. I think he managed four goals for us in total.
Steve McMahon. Not sure how he’s managed to avoid this thread. Lazy, fat, out of shape and put almost every shot over the bar.
Couldn't catch a cold!Immel was a very poor keeper for an international. Did he catch anything?
I'd say Steve Macmanamananamanmanama
All he did was jog around and point. He did nowt else for us at all. I couldn't believe he was a player who'd played for Real Madrid, it was like he was an impersonator of a footballer.
At least with other players, we knew they were shit, but to be as shit as him when he'd scored two goals in a CL final...
Never heard of that Shudders fella.Seen some bad ones over the years but top 3 that made me wonder how are they classed as professionals were :
Gerry Creaney
Adie Mike
Mikael Frontzeck
Shudders....

As was Fowler. When he was here Seaman was truly atrocious.

Wasn't impressed with Fowler, he had certainly degenerated significantly from his best, on an absolute basis I thought he was a below average premier forward whereas I thought Seaman was dreadful and not just below his previous levelAs was Fowler.
I remember Vuoso in a pre-season friendly at Bury(?) - he didn't impress much for a £3.5m player but I'm not sure he was bad enough to make this thread. Lee Peacock on the other hand had one attribute, he made Gareth Taylor look like Maradona in comparison.
Hard to blame Sun, really. That Yorkshire, sorry, "YAAAAAAWKSHAA" accent must be really difficult to a non-English speaker to understand. Christ knows what Kev and Dave make of Fab, Stonesy and Kyle!It seemed like every week him and Sun Jihai would have a miscommunication breakdown and invariably end up in a goal
