You may be right with that one, it took them a few decades from Busby to appoint there next successful manager in Fergie. A long time in the wilderness , whilst we can be content with the fact the last 3 managers we have had have lifted the league. You can keep swapping the brains at City and the club keeps winning.

If there whole game plan is to find another Busby or Fergie we'll overtake their league haul before they do. It's an antiquated idea.

During his last stint at Chelsea he looked like a beaten man: subdued, morose, his shoulders slumped in defeat, and things have gotten worse since joining the vermin.
For a man who had openly courted the managerial position at the swamp for so long, why, now that he has achieved his wish, does he look like a condemned man walking the green mile?

For a long time I thought it was down to the fact that he knew deep down that he could never go toe-to-toe with Pep and expect to win. Maureen simply isn't good enough to take our man on. He knows all the while Pep is about he will be playing second fiddle, and his ego can't handle it.
But then I thought, Maureen couldn't give a fuck about the long term prospects of any club he's managed, never has. He's the very definition of a stop-gap manager, like Colin Wanker, Ian Holloway, Twitcher, Fat Sam, etc. The clubs that employ these people do it for the here and now, to 'steady the ship' sort of thing. There is no long term strategy with these managers simply because you can't be sure they'll still be around in a year or two.

Maureen looks like a player whose team is losing 6-0 in the 94th minute of a game: he just goes through the motions because he knows the fat lady is practising her scales.

Tony Martial came from France, the English press said he had no chance, 50 million down the drain as Tony Martial is AWOL again!

A utd fan been on talksport. Apparantly been going for 25 years. Said the only player Jose has improved is, and I quote, "that young Scot, Tommy whats his name". Then said that Klopp had handled "Daniel Clyne" a lot better than Jose had "that French kid".

When he was at PSG, I read Ibrahimovic's autobiography (Genuinely good read). In it there are two whole chapters (including the prologue!) dedicated solely to his hatred of Pep. Yes, really.

Which got me thinking. When Mourinho leaves United, I hope he writes an autobiography. Because chapters 1 and 2 will be everything from 1985-2016. And then chapters 3-30 will be on how much Ed Woodward is a piece of shit. And it'll be glorious.

“Half of this team won’t even be here in August,”

“why shouldn’t Sanchez be unhappy, I have no other strikers, no wingers, none”

“Bailly is not a leader; good guy, works hard, not a leader”

“Half of this team won’t even be here in August,” ;

“I don’t even know why these fans showed up, I wouldn’t.”

Wow. Who on earth would like to play for a manager like that? Instead of finding excuses and protecting these young players, try to build them up, he throws them under the bus.

Peg’s comments about Valencia too, fucking hilarious. It’s his captain, shows how much respect he has for Mourinho anyway, but basically comes back miles overweight then gets injured after 9 mins in first tour game. Couldn’t make it up.

Plus his comments on Martial

Lol.
Didn't realise this had happened. .

Been on the Caf' ...don't worry I've washed my hands and repented. It's hilarious. The meltdown will be of epic proportions. Can't wait. Simply loverly.

Those comments are the sort of talk that sees the Glazers called up to be informed of the situation. I really am a bit shocked they are like this already, i expected the meltdown to be when they see them selves falling away from us which is pretty likely. The season has not even started and Mourinho basically just called everyone else at the club useless or lazy besides a few of his favs, amazing stuff really.

the trouble with Jose is he's only interested in himself, he's a self centred spoilt brat, he would sooner flog off any decent youth and spunk the money on a has been that might flicker some light from time to time just to throw the dice at some instant success, he signed his contract extension knowing full well he'l never see it out so again spunking more cash from the cow, i'l give him until Jan then he'l be off clutching his pay off cheque
