De Bruyne injury - Back in Training (p89)

Gutted, really gutted but this is why we have squad depth, the other players have to step up now.

Hope he's not out for too long.

Given our upcoming fixtures it could have happened at a worse time.

Good stuff you are putting on a brave face and looking for positives. It has still ruined my Wednesday though!!
Haha trust me I'm not happy about this either! I can't pretend it hasn't threatened to dent my confidence. But what can I do, if not be positive?

Absolutely gutted ! Could be more than 2 months. Some mood changer on the radio just said he could be out until chrimbo :(

Every season it feels like we lose someone to a lengthy injury. Other teams get away with just niggles or knocks. Well at least Bernardo will get to cement his central position.

Bernardo, Foden, Gundogan and Delph (and Fern if Stones steps into his DM shoes) hould be sufficient for the games we have for the next two months. We never win at Liverpool anyway.

I don't want to be ridiculously optimistic here, and obviously I'm gutted he's out out, I was a bit worried that he might burn out after a long season and the world cup anyway. If he's out for three months he'll have a proper rest and be firing on all cylinders at the end of the season.

We were never in the market for a KDB alternative,so what's your point?
I've always said we needed someone who could play no.8, no6 Or ideally be versatile enough to play both. Because Gundogan isn't consistently dangerous enough to play as a backup for Debruyne and probably not consistently defensive and mobile enough to cover Fernandinho.

Concerned you may have been a bit short-sighted?

Is this going to increase chances of some clogger having a go at Silva or Fernandinho in the next few games in the hope of buggering us up even more?

Get well soon KdB.
Just read on BBC site Kev missed 12 games last season with his right knee injury.

Talking of short.....I know you haven't been a fan long, but surely you must be aware of our squad depth when it comes to midfield options?

Not too dissimilar myself. If it around two moths, means he misses some incredibly winnable games & international break.
Liverpool is in October & Spurs the end of October.
Get him back firing for Spurs and we'll be reet.

It's not the best news, but long term if we're only looking at 8 weeks it may be good for him.

Really not this. Silva, Silva, Foden, Gundogan, Sterling, Mahrez.

Ohhh now we get to the ''Ive been a fan longer than you" ... Well...well my dad is stronger is your dad!

Been a fan since 2010 season, not as long as you I'm assuming, I honestly wouldn't have a clue. If you are so confident we have enough cover I have no idea why you are getting so defensive.
