De Bruyne injury - Back in Training (p89)

Looking back to 2016,
was it right knee inferior/inside lateral ligament?
What grade of damage (2 or 3)?
Did he have surgery (to fix a torn ligament)?

Same ligament involved now, as it sounds. Could that be a special concern?

If it's badly swollen he shouldn't be flying.

Probably a private jet or, at the very least business class, so he will be able to keep the joint elevated and ensure thats its iced . In which case there's no real problem especially as he's doing so to see the best orthopedic surgeon there is

Next time I feel ill I will just come on here as there appears to be so many qualified doctors who are fans...

It takes a certain level of intelligence to be a blue... can turn their hands to many things

Following the world cup it could be that we will see more injuries than normal due to the demands that are put on players. No proper rest and recovery time! In only a few weeks there are international games, 3 before xmas, only a few months after the world cup finished

Go to off topic, you can get all sorts diagnosed, treatments suggested, and a decent prognosis. I stopped paying for doctors years ago.

Just done a quick search he was out for 3 months from Jan 6 and returned v Bournemouth April 2 City played 7 PL games winning only 2

The injury was tears to the lateral ligament in his right knee and another to one of his ankle ligaments hopefully, his new injury isn't as bad and only to one joint

And when you say “paying for doctors,” you mean tapping into your massive investment gains from your crypto currency portfolio that fellow blues helped you build

Thought the same, but it’s slightly more positive reporting than everything we’ve heard since it happened. Let’s hope true.
Everyone else grasping onto this injury as their shot to catch us. I'd love nothing more for it to come back KDB is out a month max... Just to see the rest of the lot soil their pants when the news breaks. Either way we are a deep team and injuries galvanize teams and stave off any hint of complacency that could creep into a team returning from the most dominant campaign ever. Kids get game time and Berardo gets to cement his role now that more central time is available and Mahrez is in.
