De Bruyne injury - Back in Training (p89)

I'm not getting excited by this rumour.

We have had similar before.

Then there is also a difference between a player being fit to play & fit to play well.

I'm looking at City to find a way of playing, without him, hopefully stay competitive in all competitions, then cash in like fuck 2nd half of the season, with a fully rested KDB.

3 months officially but I would think that is the top end of the time scale.

Either way I'm not as concerned as I would have been had this happend last season.

With Mahrez we have different options.

Official site - 3 months

'around 3 months' it says ;-)

A others have stated, we also have to manage Kev's minutes over a season to get the best out of him.
Pep said, Kev always wants to play, but we know he's not fresh later in the season in the big games.

Now we have enough cover to rotate and we would be wise to do so. Kev has to cope sitting on the bench sometimes to his and the club's advantage.
Not easy to manage for the whole squad but who could do it better than Pep.

Exactly the same injury as Everton LC semi one and a half years ago.
First game back?
Probably Utd at home... (as sub?)

We'll be ok (I hope) but emphasizes how much of a pity it is that we didn't get Jorginho. He'd have been great pulling the strings in Kevin's absence.
