Thierry Henry - Bordeaux manager

Both players have/were been wonderful for the PL and certainly 2 of the best in the world.Virtually nothing between them and it will be nice to see how Henry plays this out with the methods he will use ... similar to Pep ? He needs the players first.
I think he`ll do very well in all honesty and maybe its a good stepping stone to come back to the PL,assuming he impress`s with his first venture.

I agree that it’s almost impossible comparing players, especially from different eras.

Even the debates on here about who is the greatest City player of all time. How can you compare Vinnie, David, Yaya and Sergio - all different types of player - let alone King Colin, Frannie and Buzzer or Peter Doherty and Billy Meredith?

As you say, Henry and Agüero are very different; they both have their own strengths and weaknesses, but one thing is sure, they have lit up the Premier League for us all to enjoy.

He has always been one of my favourite non-Chelsea players in PL history. I could never bring myself to dislike him, despite him banging in goals against Chelsea nearly every time he played against us.

The best forward in PL history for me.

Good luck to him. An intelligent, articulate and fair-minded pundit. Not many of those about. Management’s gain is punditry’s loss.

I was never really a fan of him as a pundit, I must admit. I always felt like he spoke in cliches too much for my liking - it was obvious he graduated from the British school of punditry.

Let's not forget that he also had a dark side when things weren't going to plan - a bit Cantona-esque in some ways but not to the same vile degree, also there was the showboating penalty against us at Highbury when they had already won the game, also there's the Irish handball, but all in all a great player.
