No, just like Yaya didn’t. Gives deluded fans someone to blame rather than the player for their own actions. I will be intrigued to see the people who defend him to the very end what their thoughts would be if he goes or sees out his contract. It’s clearly not running smoothly, staggering considering no other big club would want him/ pay what they’re asking.

His numbers are great and he scored the last minute winners last year, why do people seem to think that’s enough to demand what he is? Did aguero deserve a million a week for scoring the biggest and most important last minute goal ever? Did Dickov get a pay rise for his gillingham goal. Did sterling get a wage decrease for all the games he didn’t change the two years previous? Or is his whole negotiation based on a heavily deflected winner at Bournemouth and a very fortunate goal at Huddersfield and a worldie against Southampton

I honestly don't think many will care that much as long as the club is able to get a reasonable fee for him. Liverpool paid 40m to arsenal for chamberlain when he was in the last year of his contract so it's not out of the realms of possibility that the club could still get a very good fee for him even if he runs his contract. As long as he still performs tll then and speaks of nothing bad about the club/manager, I'm sure many fans will wish him well for helping the team to a couple of cups/trophies during his short time and then move on

No, it's probably based on other factors, such as his age, nationality and length remaining on his current contract. Besides, we don't actually know for sure what exactly he is "demanding".

Like every other footballer he's entitled to ask what he wants. Just as the club is entitled to agree to that request or disagree.

Unsurprisingly some seem to hold Sterling to a different standard to everyone else.

No you see, there you go moving the goal posts again. How can you overlook his misses in those 2 games that meant the team missed out on getting 105 points instead of the 100 his other countless goals/winners helped get them to. You and your sterling fan club always moving the goal posts from what really matter

Why not for me? Because I posted a nationwide survey from BBC on world cup performances?

I like Sterling and believe he could still develop into a truly world-class player but I don't think he has got there yet. According to the link below he's one of the best paid players at City. Tell me, do you think he should be paid as much as Agüero or KDB? If you do, I respect your opinion but I do not rate him that highly and it seems a large number of English football fans agree with me.

He came to us because he wanted to further his career, win trophies. We are currently favourites to win all the competitions we are participating in including the coveted Champions League which is the holy grail for all players in Europe. Why is he stalling on his contract? Has his agent indoctrinated him in some way in order to collect commissions? Does he simply want to leave the UK and play for Real Madrid or Juventus? Who knows.

But please, 350 K per week? No way!

As I say, great technique, blistering pace over 30 metres but a final shot/pass which is often not world-class.

Sorry don't have the time to educate you on the bbc,england team fans/media or total rumours on what he earns or rumours on what he is asking for
 
I can't understand fans that criticise Sterling after last season and the beginning of this one. The only person allowed rightly to do so is Pep if he didn't follow his instructions. If you've never had the balls to demand more money in work then I suggest you do so, 50% chance of an immediate pay rise.
